When the SCHIP Hits the Fan

“The most open and ethical Congress in history.” Do you remember that boner uttered by Nancy “Where’s my 747″ Pelosi? AFTER THE GAVEL DROPPED, on a mongoloidal agricultural bill, which was pockmarked with earmarks, most notably, a liberal “Benevolent Benefits for Border Burglars” attachment, a strange thing took place. The liberals lost the vote, but apparently the votes in a Democratic congress are recorded in chalk, not ink.It appears that the liberals, in courting the next wave of illegals / income snatchers / future Democrats looked to expand the SCHIP program to include millions of illegal aliens, handing over trillions in WIC, food stamps and rental assistance, to name a few. “SCHIP” translates to: State Children’s Health Insurance Program. My translation of the acronym is: “Socialist Chicanery Helping Illegals Perpetually.”All of that is good and well if that is your goal, but at least have the courage to let the constituents know on the occasions when the congressional voting rules are not applicable to a vote that has ended. It is just the cavalier manner employed by the Hammer and Sickle crowd that is so infuriating. The vote was over and done but the liberals felt compelled to put time back on the clock and to move the goal posts. It immediately brings to mind the same comical pattern they utilized in trying to cajole the nation into swallowing the Equal Rights Amendment rubbish from 1979 through 1982. This vote also reminds me of the gold medal basketball game in the 1972 Olympics. The libs have been mimicking their communist deities politically for fifty years now, it is now evident that Soviet subterfuge in the world of sports did not escape the watchful liberal eye as well.

I am sure the liberal comparisons to the Medicare vote from three years ago will surface. The difference is the rules were not “liberally” modified AFTER THE GAVEL FELL. They were not even changed BEFORE the gavel fell. Today the Democrats just felt a particular motivation to change the rules on the spot to fit their agenda.

The “illegals” are proving to be an incredibly thorny issue in the political world, so I have a solution that is guaranteed to end all the scrapping. Let’s invade Mexico.

Only a fool believes that the United States HAS NOT been invaded by the illegals, so lets up the ante. The southern border shared by Belize and Guatemala could be sealed off in less time than it takes Howard Dean to down his daily anti psychotic meds. An immediate 80% targeted tax rate will be levied on all Hispanics within our borders, old and new. This 80% will be classified as “reparations” set-aside for the rest of us who have supported twenty million of your stealthy and not so stealthy brethren without compensation. There will be no funneling of our “righteous reparations” to blacks unless they can prove that they are 250 years of age. However, with the number of cats, dogs, and porcupines currently registered as Democrats in the black ghetto, 250 year old residents may not be that hard to produce and “verify” for the inner city “Rain Man” election boards.

Our invasion will provide the liberals ample opportunities to employ their unique skills in skullduggery south of Texas. Harry Reid will have plenty of chances to enhance his black market real estate portfolio. Nancy Pelosi won’t have to hide the Mexicans she used to pay under the table to pick her grapes. Fat Teddy can build the “Hispanic Hyannisport” as long as there aren’t any bridges he will need to drive over to get there. Hillary could call herself the “First Hispanic President.”

If the Democrats are that enamored with the idea of handing billions of taxpayer dollars to the illegal invaders, why not just draft a bill to that effect as opposed to attaching an “under the radar” rider onto another bill? If they are going to attach it to another bill, it should be the “Democratic Amnesty Apostasy” that they are wringing their grubby little hands over.

It is just how the liberals do things. One set of rules strictly enforced by the liberal “According to Hoyle” arbiters for others, another set of “whatever we say, whenever we say it” rules for themselves. The lefties should just claim that this vote-revote mess is the fault of those same “racist” machines that always coincidentally appear every four years, only in “predominantly black wards”, and only when Republicans win elections. That is a tried and true howler guaranteed to bring down the house every time.

The liberals “the sun was in my eyes” or “the dog ate my homework” excuses they will cook up for this stunt will hopefully be exposed so that the “ethical” halos the Democrats have anointed themselves with will become a crown of thorns, one size fits all liberals.
