Cognitive Dissonance

We used to boycott our enemies. Now we bankroll them. China manufactures everything for us, the Middle East quenches our thirst for crude oil.

In the interest of “saving money”, several automobile manufacturers moved a number of their assembly plants outside of the United States. In looking at the price of a new car, I am wondering where this “money saved” went because it hasn’t translated into anything remotely resembling a reduction in the price of a new vehicle.

Here is one from the “You Will Never Believe It” file. Rodney King was shot. The Los Angeles ambassador and criminal liaison was hit with shot gun pellets while on a San Bernadino street corner. Rodney then rode his bicycle home. After extorting 3.8 million dollars from the Los Angeles coffers, Rodney rides a bike. I’m sure it is all tied up in investments.

I’ve heard some call the jobs produced recently as “Mc Jobs.” Two points: 1) Our ILLEGAL friends and our own illiterates hatched in the public schools are qualified for little else. 2) A “Mc Job” at the minimum wage beats the fifty cents an hour the average Mexican worker gets back home.

The “problem” between the races. The financial profiteers, to some known as “Reverend” to others known as “Shakedown Artists”, have to reinforce the “problem.” They must wind the horn of outrage, as it is their job to inflate the “problem” to prodigious proportions. The “problem” must then be considered an “epidemic.” The “epidemic” must be explained in the most nebulous of terms. Proof is never required of the accusers. The accusation alone stands as all the proof necessary, for the accusers “racist radar” is finely tuned to recognize and exaggerate any blip on the radar screen. The unanswered accusation is the “truth” because those sporting racial halos that occupy the moral high ground speak it. The creation of amazing phantasms and Chimeras like “institutional racism” are imperative to furthering the mythology. There is too much money to be made in the reinforcement of racial separation and as long as there is a payoff to be had, there will always be antennae pricked up by the overtly sensitive over “problems” between the races.

The value of an opportunity to separate the races is never lost upon Al $harpton, who is invisible on topics of substance but who always makes his presence known when the subject changes to the insignificant or the inflammatory. There is no better way to keep your name in the headlines than to fan the embers of racial divisiveness while banging the drum of self-promotion. His race serves as a buffer from the repercussions of his rhetoric. Thus insulated, his ridiculous extremism becomes his most effective truncheon. His forays into rhetorical arson are thus explained away without the scarring that those not wearing the asbestos suit of unaccountability are susceptible to. Ann Coulter says that this an attempt to end all humor. I find that surprising considering $harptons inability to recognize the humor of his tailor and his hairdresser. I suppose that there is nothing like the power of minority infallibility cloaked in the comfortable protections of pigmentation.

The liberals laughingly refer to themselves as “mainstream.” Lets suppose that if you posses common sense and you decide to wade into this “mainstream”, the undertow of bilge, socialism and communism would very quickly drag you under causing your relatives to scramble to find a picture of you to place on milk cartons all over the country. The liberal “mainstream” is the equivalent of an intellectual Bermuda triangle. Carelessly wading into this “mainstream” would be synonymous with booking a flight on Amelia Earhart airlines, upgrading your cabin on the Titanic and requesting a front row seat on the Hindenberg.

I find it sad that the liberals are ignoring the Muslim terrorists declaration of war on America and the conservatives are ignoring the liberals declared war on America.

The liberals are great at telling you what you are “doing wrong”, but their creative juices coagulate when it comes to a constructive alternative idea or plan. They love to talk about “change” but they have not got the courage to actually implement any, that way their abject failure is the responsibility of “the previous administration.” The only “change” the typical liberal is interested in is what they ask me for when they are panhandling outside the grocery store.

Brainwashing appears to be a popular hobby in the Middle Eastern Arab nations. How else can you explain a suicide bomber? It also appears to be the only washing allowed in the Middle Eastern Arab countries. I am sure it is only a coincidence that these volunteers are always sufficiently marinated in the malodorous sewage of radical Islam.

How hilarious was this story: “Climate change hits Mars.” (timesonline.uk) “The Red planet could lose its southern ice cap.” There are also “strong winds” on Mars which means Al Gore must be taking his “Inconvenient Truth” on an “inter galactic” field trip. Mars has apparently warmed at a rate similar to Earth since the 1970’s. Maybe it is all those emissions from all of those SUV’s the Martians are so fond of. Could it be time to start measuring “Martian carbon footprints”? Maybe it is all those chloroflorocarbons from all of the spray deodorants the Martins use. Could it be from the DDT the Martians employ to eradicate the mosquitoes plaguing the Red planet? Next stop: ‘The Impending Martian Ice Age.’ How about: ‘Famine abounds: Martian capitalism creates drought, killing billions of Martians.’ Global warming, as a theory, is not impossible but I prefer to leave its substantiation to politically unpolluted scientists, not liberally motivated Democratic windbags. There is always an air of the disingenuous when the limousine liberals begin harping about pseudo-science. When Al Gore moves to the Gobi desert, lives in a tent made from recycled diapers and washes what’s left of his hair with his own urine, I’ll believe his ridiculous environmental harangue is based upon conviction, not the “feel good, accomplish nothing” liberal blather it is based on today.

If the liberals could walk on water like they think they can, Mary Jo would still be alive.
