The Wizard of Odds

For the edification of those in the world who have been even moderately inattentive to the political comings and goings of the past few months, the current edition of the “Democratic Renaissance, circa 2008″ is bandying about the catchy but hollow phrases, “Hope and Change.” I personally see this “hope and change” business as an artful dodge and deflection from the overwhelmingly important issue of “experience” when it comes to holding the most important political office in the world.

These are the Democrats that we are talking about, so they need to come to the definitive conclusion that they are either all about “Change, Obama Style”, or they aren’t. We should broach this “political absolutism” one liberal fantasy at a time..

If the left is so convinced that this is all about “change”, utilizing BHO/JFK as their agent of “change” demands that the rest of us discuss his “experience” or the obvious lack thereof. After all, uber lefty kook John Aravosis (doesn’t that name just sound like a liberal venereal disease? ‘Hey man, what did the doctor give you for that Aravosis on your anus? Groovy, man’..) screeched that “McCain is running for president of the United States, not the student council.” So is Barack H****** Obama, dude. Actually the student council president has more political experience than Obama, but I digress…

The left intensely wants everyone to believe that “experience” is irrelevant when discussing the Bolshevik Party’s candidate for the presidency, allow me to bring up a few points in disagreement.

Having the neighborhood plumber perform your quadruple bypass surgery would be a “change.” The plumber has no “experience” with this surgical procedure and if you wish to view the world through the liberal kaleidoscope of confusion and illogic, the veins and arteries of your heart kind of look like the pipes under your bathtub, right? So “experience” doesn’t matter at all, it is all about “change.”

If it is all about “change”, lets take the Family Truckster to the lawnmower repair facility for that engine overhaul and tune up. Again, thinking liberally, (that is actually an oxymoron, but you know where we are trying to go here..) a lawnmower has an engine and it runs on gasoline, so our lawnmower man has enough “experience” to do all of the necessary repairs according to the left. If we are to believe the propaganda hatched within the soft boiled Socialist mindset, the Family Truckster will actually end up running considerably better and more efficiently. All we have to do is just give the “inexperienced” lawnmower repairman the “opportunity”. Lets let him take a whack at repairing something as complicated as your automobile with no “experience.” Just for a “change”.

If “experience” DOES matter and since Obama has virtually no measurable experience worth mentioning or noting, then he will have no choice but to surround himself with those considerably more “experienced” in the liberal political witchcraft and voodoo. That makes him nothing more than an ILLUSION of “change.” A figurehead. He is unquestionably the Democrats Manchurian Candidate. He is the Wizard of Oz, the man that has been exposed as a fraud, standing behind the curtain pulling the levers and pushing the buttons as the Democratic munchkins swoon and drool as they lay prostrate before his transparent and vacuous imagery… Since he is the leader of the liberals, he thus becomes the “Wizard of Odds”.

Remember that Bilious Clinton himself made heavy weather of the change and hope numbskullerie during his campaign. He succeeded in “changing” the White House into the set of “Boogie Nights” and his administration, for the sake of expediency, kept the phone numbers of Washington area bail bondsmen on the speed dials of their cellular phones. We also have him to thank for his “two for the price of one” spouse, the insufferable Socialist harpy with her insatiable lust for power and her ridiculously “suspended” campaign. Thanks, Bill. You are the only politician around that could make people say, “maybe Carter wasn’t so bad after all”..

“Experience” comes from and is part of the learning process whereby one makes decisions and tries to realistically assess their potential merits or failures before implementing the plan or program. “Hope and Change” aren’t decisions. They aren’t even complete sentences. Inexperienced individuals instinctively look to those who have applicable experience for advice and direction, especially those who find themselves in positions of authority when they have no knowledge or expertise. Those who do not travel this time worn path, essentially those that are too vain, pompous or arrogant, usually end up destroying all that they touch. If the nation elects an inexperienced President of the United States, try to image all of the things in your life that he will “touch”. Those with “experience” aren’t about “change”. “Experience” in the political world means “conform, not reform”..

The earlier in the “experience process” that you are, the greater the tendency for you to make decisions that are anywhere from merely deleterious to the potentially catastrophic. That is why the political world invented things like… Aldermen. Mistakes made by a young and inexperienced Alderman can be easily rectified and they normally don’t have an insurmountably egregious impact.

I don’t think that the same could be said of the mistakes made by an inexperienced President of the United States. We are talking about the most powerful nation on the planet, that is, until the liberals manage to again steal another election through the hocus-pocus of political deception.

At least Senator Rodham-Saddlebags had the decency to convey with her “thirty five years of experience” ruse that she was all about being “old school liberal tax and spend.”

The “Change and Hope” helium that has been so easily inhaled by the marionettes of the liberal fifth column isn’t going to play as well outside of the methadone clinic, the bathhouse and the commune. The real Americans, the ones who are too busy to walk in protest marches because they are working and paying the bills, need something of substance from someone asking for their vote.

Experience is obviously important in a heart surgeon and in an automobile mechanic. Needless to say, experience is even more important to a potential Commander in Chief. The “new guy” hired in the mailroom would never be elected to run the company after twenty-five minutes on the job under any circumstances. With twenty five years of “experience” and promotions, he might earn the opportunity to be elected president..

So what would an Obama administration be comprised of? The “Change” of cashiered community activists, out of work mail order theologians and pony tailed liberal failures as cabinet members, advisers and appointees? Is that type of “change” acceptable to you? Or will the “change charade” be comprised of Bill Clintons, Huey Longs and Harry Reids, the typical “inside the beltway” Democratic goons, thieves and thugs? If it is the former, what could possibly be salvaged from the rubble of this country after a four-year term? If it is the latter, how is that precipitating “Change”?

And for all of you egghead conspiracy “-ist and -ism” theorists out there, let me make this patently clear for you before you start croaking. I do not see BHO/JFK as being too black to be President, I see him as being too “green”. You have just been paying too much attention to the wrong color..

“Change”? Nonsense.. As I have said before, the only real “change” the left is truly interested in, is what they ask me for when they are sponging outside of the mall..

  1. This is spot on. From the start BHO/JFK struck me as a “Tony Robbins” type who told me I will feel better about myself if I voted for him, but giving me nothing in the way of details as to how that would happen!
What scares the hell out of me is the huge number of the dumber population who are buying this malarky hook, line, and sinker! These are the people who couldn’t name a single Bush cabinet member but could certainly tell you about the last episode of Judge Judy!

  2. I really like your style. Great essay, wonderful humor and insights. In my book, there’s just you and Annie!
The goofiest thing I’ve heard from the media are the silly discussions about whether the nation is ready to elect a woman, or a black. My own concern is that I’m not ready to elect a guy named Hussein AND Osama, oops, Obama while we are at war with an enemy of that ilk. I will need more time. Maybe after we defeat that enemy, introduce them to civility and rebuild their cities – maybe then – maybe never!!!

  3. Excellent! My favorite part, and one that I will quote to anyone who will listen, is, “And for all of you egghead conspiracy “-ist and -ism” theorists out there, let me make this patently clear for you before you start croaking. I do not see BHO/JFK as being too black to be President, I see him as being too “green”. You have just been paying too much attention to the wrong color.” Well done!

  4. Thank goodness for people who can write like this. I, myself, think these things but cannot write in a humorous and precise enough style to make them clear to others. You have presented unshakable facts along with irrefutable opinions, and I promise to plagerise them in talking to my lib friends. Blessings!

I’m leaving this little nugget on every website I can find:

    Annoy a Liberal…..
    ….be proud of this country
    ;-)

  6. Charly Martel

    Change!
    What kind of change?
    Change we can believe in!

Hand me one of those McCain clothespins, please. And another martini.

It’s another election year and another set of candidates to vote against. Will we ever see a candidate we can REALLY support?

  7. reminds me of a kid that says, “I know!!….let’s try this!”.
And when that doesn’t work out, says, “ok, let’s try this!”. And on and on.
Two plus two is still four people.
We can CHANGE that around all we want.. ie, experiment with 2+2=5, 2+2=9, 2+2= -12, etc etc.
In fact, there are an infinite number of CHANGEs you can make.
But in the end, intelligent people always return to 2+2=4.
Why? Because my wallet says so.
Now a liberal (who never looks in their OWN wallet) absolutely will NOT get the meaning of that last sentence.
    B. H****** Obama wants CHANGE. In fact, he wants all the CHANGE we have left in our pockets.
After stealing all the bills (for your liberal readers that would be hard-earned American dollars), all we have left is CHANGE, and now this little lying DemonRat wants that too.

Green? When color really does matter!
Vote for the patriot! (I wonder how many people thought of Oblama when they read that!).

  8. “liberal failures?”

    Isn’t that another oxymoron?

    Robert

  9. noleftturnz

    Robert,

Actually, “liberal scholar” would be another…or “liberal patriot”…

  10. Charly, stirred, not shaken? Larry
