Just when you thought that we might have reached the point where we might have a day or two of “Clinton-less” news, the Associated Press tells of former President Clinton’s visit to Philadelphia. Bilious Clinton was speaking before the National Governors Association, so with a room full of old gubernatorial goats, the chances for Bill to “grab” anything other than a headline or two was probably pretty infinitesimal, so Rodham gave her approval for his field trip..
Clinton said that the “achievement” of the Democratic primary season is being “overshadowed by a growing distance between Americans.” What “achievement”? Is he possibly referring to probably THE greatest presidential choke job (No Lewinsky blue dress jokes here people, lets keep it clean.) EVER by his insufferable wife and her “Keystone Cops” campaign staff? Did he forget to mention that this “growing distance” has been encouraged not only by his wife’s ridiculously “suspended” campaign, but also the policies and procedures of racial recognition and separatism created, enacted and encouraged by the liberal Democrats for the last half century? He also forgot to mention his two Democratic contemporaries, $harpton and Jack$on (who and who??), both of whom specialize in intentionally separating and enflaming the races in order to secure their own slimy place within the dystrophic liberal pantheon of so called “leaders.”
He continued on with, “Underneath this apparent accommodation to our diversity, we are in fact hunkering down in communities of like-mindedness, and it affects our ability to manage difference..” Wow. Where to begin… Strap yourself in and lets try to break that howler down for the sake of sanity..
“Apparent accommodation to our diversity..” Through out time immemorial, when the progressives have hatched an “idea”, they have always believed that its implementation would miraculously transform America into “Kumbaya Korner”, and so it is with their vehement demands for “diversity”.
Diversity with the left, is a one way street where they assume the mantle of moral righteousness while they ignore other “un-diversities”, many of them of their own making. For example, there are 110 “Historically Black Colleges and Universities” in the United States. Does that suggest “diversity” to you? There are a number of schools that have all black fraternities and sororities. I can remember fevered requests/demands for “black only” dormitories and “black only” coronations and graduations at some schools as well. Not too much “diverse” about any of that, but you won’t hear anything but crickets from the left about these unusual expressions of “diversity”.
..”hunkering down in communities of like-mindedness..” The liberal beacon of “diversity” has to be the city by the gay, San Francisco. “Diversity” reigns supreme in this twisted metropolis, but does it really? Where was San Francisco’s “diversity” of thought when Board of Supervisors member Ed Jew voted in opposition to the psychotic ravings of fellow Board member Gerardo Sandoval, who attempted to overrule the first amendment specifically against those who disagreed with him? Where was their “diversity” and “tolerance” for the United States Marine Corps who were not allowed to film a commercial on the Golden Gate Bridge? “Like-mindedness”?? Does anyone remember the warm reception Joseph Lieberman received from his fellow Democrats after he had the audacity to vote for, and speak out on behalf of, the war in Iraq? There has never been a more “like-minded” and exclusionary group of bottom feeders than the liberal left. If you would like to see how “tolerant” the liberals really are, just disagree with one..
“..affects our ability to manage difference.” With the liberals, it is all about control. In order to choreograph the outcome of any and all situations, they have to be in control of all of its elements. “Diversity” with the left becomes a series of sterile charts and graphs that must be implemented “for your own good.” Just ask a liberal, they know what is best for you. Liberally unapproved individual volition is written off (or prosecuted) as “hateful” and “exclusionary.” Actually, it is just “some” people’s volition that is in need of the appropriate attention and adjustment.
Bill seemed surprised that people are “sorting themselves out by choosing to live with people that we (they) agree with.” Just because Bill lives with someone that he doesn’t agree with (I’ll bet their house looks like the set of a Jackie Chan movie..) doesn’t mean that the rest of us should follow suit. Not all of us have the singular lust for power that compels us to stay together for the sake of “appearances” like the Clintons..
Clinton thought that it was a good idea to tell the governors that they are dealing with the same issues that Teddy Roosevelt “grappled with a century ago.” It is good to know that even Clinton can’t find a Democrat worth mentioning when it comes to “problem solving.” Teddy, as a Republican, “grappled” with these issues quite differently from today’s elitists Democrats of the far left. Bill’s lachrymose laundry list included, “the inequality among rich and poor, immigration and energy policy..” With Democrats as unquestionably brilliant and insightful as Clinton and Cornpone Carter spending time in the White House, you have to ask yourself how it was that these burning issues, and a whole bushel basket of others, all managed to magnify so appreciably under their tutelage.
Clinton claims that if these issues are dealt with, we will see the “most exciting period in our history.” It is all about “excitement” with the Obama zombies and as well, we all know that Bill knows a thing or two about what to do or who to call when he gets “excited.” In order to “deal” with the “issues”, the Democratic candidate needs to actually address the issues, not avoid them. “Hope and Change” and “Change and Hope” may hypnotize the infantile green haired pimply Socialists, but they aren’t anything remotely resembling an answer to the compelling issues of the day.
The most revealing of all of the quotes from Clinton had to be, “If we don’t, in the words of President Roosevelt, dark will be the future,” Clinton then added, “I’m betting on light..”
I believe that Bill Clinton just predicted that McCain would win the election. He said, “I’m betting on light..”!! I believe that he meant “lite” as in John “Obama lite” McCain. Or was Clinton poking fun at McCain’s very fair complexion, trying to take a page out of Jack$on’s or Bernie Mac’s recent crude joke books? (Precisely the same kind of stuff that had Imus dangling from the MSNBC gallows..) Or was he playing the Jack$on/Bernie Mac crude angle with a prediction of an Obama victory by saying, “dark will be the future”? With an amazing intellectual verbal wizard like Bill Clinton, a man who wanted to know “what the definition of ‘is’ is”, I suppose that we will probably never know exactly what he meant by that..
My prediction is that if Obama wins come November, “dark will be the future” in more ways than one, so just like Bill, “I’m betting on lite”..

Another good article my brother, right on!
The liberals/Demonrats will never be satisfied.
It is mathematically impossible to satisfy them.
There are just not enough gays, blacks, hispanics, midgets, etc, to go around.
If (and I wish we would) take all the gays and evenly distribute them throughout every community in America, there would not be a sufficient percentage of them in any given community to have any impact on the politics of that area.
And to the liberals/Demonrats, those communities (uh, basically every community in America) would therefore be deemed “homophobic”.
Same would be true of blacks, hispanics, midgets, fat people, etc.
To rectify this situation, the liberals/Demonrats (should they win the day come November) will probably enact a sort of equality enforcement initiative whereby they pick sufficient number of homes in every community to create the sort of “un-like-mindedness” they feel the “diversity” could be “effectively managed”.
These “chosen” homes would be mandated to swap mates. Before you get your hopes up, this “swapping” would be to enforce their own contrived ideas of “balanced communities”. The end result would be male/male in one home, female/female in the other. Until the community has been deemed “sufficiently managed”.
Same would hold for blacks, hispanics, etc.
A sufficient number of homes in each community would be “blighted”, thus allowing for imminent domain to seize these homes, replace the locks (ie, rehab the place), and “sell” then to a low-income minority families for $75.00 (of course they really don’t have to pay the $75. What? would you expect the feds to kick them out of “their” home because they owe $75??).
However, since there simply are not enough blacks to go around (or hispanics, etc), these communities would be deemed “racist”, because of their low percentage of minority residents.
Just for the record, any community where the minorities or some nutbag group does not have sufficient numbers to sway politics in whatever direction THEY want, is deemed “racist”, “homophobic”, “anti-semitic”, etc.
To overcome this “shortfall” certain white women will be selected to breed with selected minority males in order to increase the number of minorities in each community.
The “leaders” will justify this as payback for the breeding practices of slave-owners from hundreds of years ago.
I sort of like the “like-mindedness” approach we have now.
I will NEVER set foot in San Francisco…ever!
$harpton & Jack$son cannot stand to be treated as white people.
That is, treated as though they should solve their own problems.
They should go out and seek their own employment.
They should paint their own house.
They should mow their own grass.
I tell my white friends and relatives “good luck with that” whenever they have an issue they need to overcome.
$harpton & Jack$on can’t STAND to hear those words.

Great translating, Larry
I can only imagine how frustrated and angry both Clintons must be. They managed to wrest party control from the Kennedy’s and the Cuomo’s. They had their guys, McAuliffe and Dean collecting the money. All they needed was to get back into the White House and someone is in their way.
When the Clintons lose this one they know their fun is over and they will be gone forever. “She” would be even more pathetic if she dumps “him” and runs in 2012.
I do not see a civilized convention in August. The long knives will be out. If I were a member of the Hussein crowd, I’d get me a top-o-the-line security system.
God bless America

Dr. Gene,
The “Night of the Long Knives” has been “bought off” by the treasure chest of BHO/JFK. These are liberals so being civilized is as foreign to them as being patriotic..2012? Depends on who gets the brass ring in November. If it is McCain, Rodham will strike the “I told you so” pose and her “phoenix in a pantsuit” will come to fruition.

Stitch,
Wow. Good job. Spreading the various liberal mutants about the country would pollute too much of the areas where the normal people like to live and recreate. I prefer them to settle their “like minded” selves out on the left coast. Be patient my friend.. San Francisco is just one big rumble from becoming an island removed from the mainland… So I say let them migrate and coagulate and lets let the San Andreas fault line work its magic..

Where do I begin. This review is SO spot on. First of all ,ONLY we Caucasians are racists. If we find certain anti-white statements by the B.Hussein crowd to be inflammatory it is because “we don’t know what its like to be black”. Excuses again, no responsibility, Etc.
During the Clinton era I maintained their goal was to diversify us right out of a country! They did a good job. “W” is of the same mind by not securing our borders.
We have a difficult road ahead.

Dr. Dave,
So true. With the self evident issues confronting our nation, it seems strange that the conservatives couldn’t manage to find and convince a candidate to get involved. So be it, the choices are Obama or Mc Cain. Not the hardest of choices, all things considered…
JBhobo // July 14, 2008 at 11:21 pm
What a great bumper sticker:
Wow! What a choice… Obama Dark or Obama Lite… John MCCain.
noleftturnz // July 14, 2008 at 11:25 pm
JB,
My sentiments exactly.. A bumpersticker guaranteed to offend all.

Great article!! Heard about your site while reading Ann Coulter’s latest article on human events. Love the picture of the dog reading Ann’s book. Subscribed so I will know when you add a new article to the site. I have also emailed all my conservative(and liberal–we all have a few) friends to tell them about your stuff. You have a great way with words(maybe you can talk some sense into my liberal friends). It is very funny, but very true at the same time. Keep it coming.

You teach English, eh.. I’ll try to watch my grammer. Feel free to correct me if I flub. Thanks for subscribing and if you have the time..I have a backlog of articles and lagniappes on a variety of topics that are probably in need of more than a little proof reading.. I hope you continue to enjoy.

A great book was written a few years back: The New Tolerance. I don’t recall the author but it’s a great read, one that will have you screaming at the pages and wanting to slap a liberal upside the head… just because. We’re required by them to tolerate their (lack of) values etc., but Lord forbid that they have to tolerate our morals and values. And speaking of God, I sometimes wish he’d get back into that smoting business and use that San Andreas fault on San Francisco. It wouldn’t cure our ills but it sure would be a good start.
noleftturnz // July 20, 2008 at 1:11 pm
Sane Val, “tolerate” within the liberal lexicon means to “accept and encourage”. To the normal it means “to put up with”. The left doesn’t acknowledge or “tolerate” the difference of opinion.
tsnamm // July 20, 2008 at 7:33 pm
Great article as usual. Loved the “same problems Teddy Roosevelt grappled with…”. Of course Teddy grappled with them quite differently than Bill or the Dems would. For instance immigration, I believe Teddy said something to the idea that we should not be a nation of “squabbling nationalities”,and that the immigrants needed to “become Americans” in ideas, thoughts customs and language. Well so much for that. And of course Teddy was quite the supporter of the projection of US military power, and that whole “Monroe Doctrine” thing. Strike two…And of course by Teddys measure(un productive) multi millionaires like the Clintons would be worthy of scorn. Strike three! So there you go…nothings different except the perspective of TR and the 1st black president. Only from a liberal.
noleftturnz // July 21, 2008 at 7:04 am
tsnamm, Excellent historical TR references. My friend, can you imagine the left’s response to the “Roosevelt Corrolary” to the Monroe Doctrine?? Reagan understood it, todays Democrats would view it as a “hate crime”. Thank you for your insights. Larry
