Collectivist Fight

July 30, 2009 · 41 Comments

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano decided to step out from the lumpy shadow cast by “fellow” invisible Obama acolyte Rodham and she gave a little pep talk about terrorism. “Big Sis” as she is known in some quarters, (“Big Bro” seems more apropos..) “urged all Americans to join a collective fight against terrorism..” Groovy. It would be more appropriate if she would have asked the liberals to finally get around to joining the fight against terrorism.. The real “American people” have been on board since September 11, 2001..

Even when it comes to terrorism and the defense of this country and its allies, the liberals can’t help but speak in their default “populist” tones. In, “Security Chief Urges ‘Collective Fight’ Against Terrorism” (Washington Post) Napolitano mentions the “collective” fight and “burden-sharing”. A “collectivist fight” or a fight “against collectivism” seems as pressing a matter these days to the “real Americans.” When it comes to terrorism, which “terrorist act” has caused more jobs to disappear, the coordinated attacks on the Twin Towers or the coordinated attacks upon capitalism by the liberal oligarchs since January?

Napolitano can at least see the writing on the wall. She is calling for all of this “burden-sharing” from the American people because her “boss” has been stealing everything that isn’t nailed down in order to “fund” his fiascoes. “The threat has not abated and (Napolitano) outlined an approach that emphasizes burden-sharing as federal spending and political support for post Sept. 11 security measures wane.” Obama has pilfered trillions to “pay” for “Marxist Motors” and the like, but protecting America and its citizens, something that is ACTUALLY PART OF THE CONSTITUTION now falls under “burden-sharing”.

This point needs to be driven home with a sledgehammer: Other than the Democrats, who else is waning on the “political support” front relative to terrorism? NO ONE.

Dancing as briskly as she could while trying as hard as possible to put some kind of spin on the ball, Napolitano said, “Has the U.S. government done everything it can to educate and engage the American people? The answer is ‘no’”.. Madame Secretary, if I may..

The Islamic terrorists “educated” everyone in the United States on September 11th. Since then it has been people like your “boss” who have said that there is too much “flag waving” going on. It is people like your “boss” who think that the yearly recognition of that dark day is getting to be “too much”.. Its people like your “boss” who have accused the “American people” of “Islamophobia” when they have become “engaged”.. Ma’am, you have your work cut out for you.. If I might add, the more appropriate question would have be: “has the Obama administration done everything it can?” NOOOOOOOOOO..

James Jay Carafano analyst from the Heritage Foundation, said that at Napolitano’s last speech before the House (02/25/09) she never mentioned the word “terrorism”. He said that during this speech, she mentioned the word “terrorism” twenty three times. There are probably a few very good reasons for that statistical anomaly.

Her first speech was given approximately one month into the Obama foray into fascism. Back then, the leftists had just begun their next assault upon the middle class and the liberals were all still intoxicated by the aroma of their own flatulence. All of the “polls” that were read to Obama each morning as he had his daily “mirror, mirror on the wall” moment were all in favor of this “historic” president. His communist cauldron had not yet come to a boil as his Democratic minions were all pumping the bellows of rhetoric upon the glowing embers of Bolshevism. That was just about the time when the liberals decided that the “war on terror” was silly. (However, not as silly as their “war on poverty” which has taken more lives and cost trillions more.. File under: “Democratic Domestic Terrorism”.)

Now the “polls” have begun reflecting upon the realism of the “Obamanomic nightmare” and the perpetual stranglehold the liberal form of government places upon the middle class. The rubble from this terrorist attack will smolder for generations.. There is a “change” in the air. It is again become time for the left to metaphorically “run to the middle”. Mind you, this Democratic dash usually takes place about six months before a major election. This totalitarian tub thumping, this fascist Feng shui fools no one, but the liberals have no choice but to resort to it months ahead of schedule due to the lengthy litany of Obama failures.

If the Secretary mentioned the word “terrorism” twenty three times in her speech, all that I have to say to that is “talk is cheap.” According to the Secretary herself, with Obama in power talk had better be cheap because that is all that her department can possibly afford..

“More than dollars, the nation needs the active engagement of employers”. With the Democratic depth charges placed within the nation’s economic waters, the Secretary should have just sent this message out as an internal email because with all of the Obama “takeovers”, the government is about the only “employer” left.. Madame Secretary, “dollars” are VERY important in the war on terror. The nation weeps that you have such an important job to do when your organization has been left with the budgetary equivalent of two tin cans and a string..

Napolitano must be trying her best to sound the alarms and clang the bells. “The consequences of living in a state of fear, rather than a state of preparedness, are enormous.” With the Obama targeted decimation of the economy that is being laughingly being passed off as a “stimulus” or “saving the economy” (according to Rahm Emanuel), it seems that the bulk of the Obama administration is living in either a state of confusion or a state of denial. The Secretary’s logic falls upon Democratic deaf ears. With ears the size of Obama’s, he should be able to hear a whisper from across the country. He and his wrecking crew are obviously ignoring the Secretary’s sound advice in order to create “Homeland Insecurity”.

When the Secretary of Homeland Security says, “we are nowhere near as prepared as we need to be”, that is a sign.. With the Democratic proclivity towards hysteria as a conditioned response, why aren’t there any hysterics over something as serious as this? Why all the histrionics over such moony malarkey as “Globaloney Warming” and “The Health Scare” when the Homeland Security Director is being as blunt as this?

Madame Secretary, were the “worst” to happen, “real Americans” would know where to place the blame, as will Obama. It will just be another “mess” that he “inherited”..

    Larry and Family

So Miz Napolitano “urged all Americans to join a collective fight against terrorists.” Just exactly which terrorists was she referring to? Did she specify? Was it the “right wing extremists” like you and I and the rest of The Family? The Islamic terrorists? Or no, it couldn’t be them,
we can’t fight the Fraud in Chief’s good buddies.

Last that I knew, WE were fighting a battle against the most dangerous terrorists in the world, and we certainly didn’t have to look any further than the Illegal Alien in the White House and the liberal jihadists in government positions all over this country. We know that they
represent the most dangerous threat to the US.
We know that they’re stealing everything that isn’t nailed down, destroying the Constitution, obliterating Capitalism, financially destroying us
trying to return us to the feudal system. We know this is all to distract us from the real enemy: them. Nice try, but it didn’t work.

Now, where did I put my sledge hammer? Ah, there it is.

Never give up, never give in, never again.

    Great article Larry.

Another gig is up for the lefties. All the time that they devoted to lulling the Oz-bound public into believing that the events of Sept. 2001 were an anomaly has gone to waste. They are now attempting to reverse the effects of their anesthetic. As you say, Larry, most of us outside the Beltway realized that our lives changed on September 11, 2001, never to be the same again. We’re angered, but not surprised, when we hear of a Long Islander who sought in 2007 to take part in missions to kill U.S. troops in Afghanistan and turned over plans that would assist our overseas enemies in attacking the Long Island Railroad. How long do you think it would have taken George Washington to stand that fellow up before a firing squad, instead of a judge in Brooklyn? Washington might not have been the greatest military strategist, but I suspect he knew treason when he saw it.

Life has gotten hard for the libs. It’s difficult to keep people believing that humans can control the weather when they are having to find their coats to go out in the early morning on the 4th of July in the Northeast. There’s hope, though. It’s hotter than blazes in Portland, OR. The swine flu didn’t comply with the World Health Organization’s prediction of a global pandemic. A growing number of sensible Americans are making it clear in polling that they don’t want their health cared for by the government and they are scaring the bejesus out of the wussified politicians in Congress. This isn’t a vacation that many members of Congress look forward to, when they have to explain to us, their constituents, just what the hell they’ve been doing with our money. I don’t care what they have to say; just knowing that they are not in Washington makes me feel safer.

I just hope that when the veil is finally completely lifted on the evil that this man wants to do to our country, it is conservatives who carry the day, not Blue Dog Democrats.

    Cash for
clunkers” is part of Obama health care reform plan, where you turn in seniors for $$

  • Louise // July 30, 2009 at 10:00 pm

I also find it highly suspicious that Napolitano is suddenly out there ringing the alarm bell. Is it to take the attention away from the Health Care Reform Bill or the Cap and Trade fiasco or both?

Ms Napolitano blew her cover with the “right wing extremists” warning. Does she recognize real danger when she sees it? Does she even know what a real terrorist is? I sincerely doubt it.

    lARRY

Absolutely great article as usual. I don’t know how you come up your analysis every time but you never let the family down. Was LMAO at your remark, “mirror, mirror on the wall” . How apropo for our imposter in chief.

LadyWolf I agree with your comments exactly. And, I believe that this is just another red herring they are putting out to get peoples mind off the murky, monstrosity, scheme of Obamacare while they are in recess. Just don’t see that happening.

Never give up, never give in, never again.

    The South will rise again.

  • G. Nichols // July 30, 2009 at 10:11 pm

The only thing a Blue Dog Democrat is is a liberal trying to be conservative, hoping he can fool the people into giving him another term in office.

I had said this once, and I will repeat it again, America is beset by enemies on all fronts. We have the external foes whom blow up our people and endanger our interest abroad. Worse though are the enemies within, the traitors whom have control of every level of our society, from the White House to the local school boards. These people seek nothing less than to destroy the country we grew up in and replace it with a realm where it is no longer rule of law, but of the bully. Democrats regained their power of old (pre 1994), and they will every foul, underhanded tactic to ensure it is they whom control every aspect of America life. If the people of this country do not hold them to account for the harm they have caused this nation, then they are no better than the traitors they support, and are equally guilty. For the first time in my whole life, I am genuinely worried about the survival of our once great republic. We need to tell our elected officials (while we still can call them that) that anybody whom votes in cap-and-trade, Fairness Doctrine (of any stripe), TARP, and Obamacare, should consider those votes as letters of resignation.

“Educate the American People on Terrorism? Collective Fight? Burden Sharing? We are nowhere near as prepared as we need to be? The consequences of living in a state of fear, rather than a state of preparedness, are enormous? EXCEPT FOR THE MILITARY THE ONLY THING I FEAR IS THE CURRENT US GOVERNMENT. Madame Secretary, what you would like me (us) to do, if I capture one (Remember I am a little right of Attilla)? I know I need to apologize, because of the blah blah blah bad things America has done in the world and they (Terrorists) are just misguided misunderstood maniacs who want to wipe out any and all non-Islamic believers. Isn’t this just another smoke screen by the Mahogany Messiah Obamayomama Copperfield Roadrunner to outwit the Wiley Coyote American idiots who voted him into office and draw their attention away from Obamacare. Maybe we should call his administration ELMER as in Fear, Uncertainty, and Deception. Who is this lady Janet Napolitano? Regardless, she reminds me of Janet Reno, another limp lump as in Hillary.
What a #$&**(#$* sick joke these people are.

Margaret in CT. I lived in Newtown for 20 years, which is near Danbury. Loved the state until the Liberal Democrats took over, started their tax & spend thing which drove us away. Best wishes, Kurt

I would have loved to have come up with that one.

    Excellent.

Larry, you’ve done it again. In my family when we get together, there is always one who will make a special dessert for the occassion. It is a scrumptious dessert with real chocolate, whipped cream, brownies and I don’t know what else, but because it is so good, it has been nick-named “Sex in a Pan”. I liken your articles to this treat, as every post I read and ponder and get so much enjoyment being educated by not only your prose, but the rest of the family minds adding their impressions and knowledge.

    G. Nichols, I REALLY like your analogy of voting for Tax and Trade, 0bamacare or tarp or stimulus plans as it would be their “letter of resignation”. In 2010 the Full House is up for re-election and one third of the Senate. We need to accept those letters of resignation and terminate their careers. Maybe we can get some fresh minds in there that will be a little more afraid of “We The People” and we can get term limits passed with other government shrinking votes.

Rick, you are right on about Cash For Clunkers in they are want to get rid of all seniors (except themselves, of course, seeing how they are so valuable – NOT). My uncle lived to be 102 and he still had wise stories to tell. Another Uncle is 92+ and sharp as a tack.

I just read at Human Events dot Com a report card on the Blue Dogs. They took 16 bills and rated how the blue dogs voted, seeing how they are trying to say they are so conservative. The overall average of their voting was 78% with ultra Liberal Steny Hoyer. Only one vote did they vote less than 50% for liberalism, and that was on the Cap and Trade. So the blue dogs are simply wolves in sheeps clothing of which we should take note .

Eileen, good job on your research. I have a tendency to get lost when I venture too deep in the internet and get frustrated. My wife is much better, but she thinks I’m a bit of a kook for all the forums and blogs I read. Oh, well.

Interestingly enough Napolitano appointed 2 Muslims to senior posts in the DHS today. Here is a link to the full story.
    http://sbynews.blogspot.com/2009/07/obama-appoints-2-devout-muslims-to.html
One of them was central to changing LAPD’s policy of monitoring Muslims in LA for terrorist activities. So we have another traitor in a public policy position deflecting our attention, so the bad guys can win again. The stupidity of this administration has no bounds. And of course the MSM will make no mention of this, as the “folks” as O’Reilly calls them, would throw a fit. BTW it has been reported that Obama has only gone to church once since his inauguration. So the quotes from his book about him supporting the Muslims are correct. So the Christian thing is just a cover. I believe they (the Muslims) have one of their own in the White House.

    LadyWolf,

I’m with you, the further left he travels his polling numbers go south. I’m afraid a majority of Americans are getting totally fed up. They are watching the destruction of America, let’s hope they wake from their naps to demand the Country remains both a free republic and retains our free market principals. The masses have started to wake as they watch our Country get flashed down the toilet. They are very unhappy from just about everything from this administration.

There is a pattern. When Americans get fed up with the republicans and believe things cannot get any worse, so they vote Democratic and they realize that they can get so much worse, they take it to a new height of horror.

I hope some of you watched O’Reilly last night. Dennis Miller was super, what he said about Nancy Pelosi and Biden made my night watch the clip.
    http://www.foxnews.com/oreilly/index.html

I hope some of you have been watching Glenn Beck, he’s been on a roll lately and he’s been exposing what the liberals are doing. We are being lead by a national “community” organizer on a global scale as Obama starts sending his foot soldiers (ACORN, SEIU, GE, AIG, & ETC)

Glenn said to watch tomorrows show so if you are working record it.

ok, I have to get this comment out there before Pelosi, et al, get too far along.

Pelosi, et al, are all out hammering now that the insurance companies are the villans. Stealing our money and making record profits.

THIS IS EXACTLY WHY THEY WANT TO TAKE IT OVER ! ! ! ! ! !

Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid are going to be bankrupt ANY DAY NOW.
OUR insurance companies (yours and mine) are LOADED WITH CASH!
    But why is that?
Because, OUR insurance companies are waaaaaay smarter than Tim Geithner.
OUR insurance companies KNOW the baby-boomers are heading towards retirement.
OUR insurance companies KNOW that 5% of the population make 50% of the claims.
OUR insurance companies KNOW that MOST of that 5% are senior citizens.
OUR insurance companies started planning for the baby-boomers retirements LONG ago.
OUR insurance companies have been storing up money for YEARS preparing to take care of us as we age.
Duh Gubment healf car programs have SQUANDERED their money, and have NOT provided a DIME for the coming years.
    Think about it.
OUR insurance companies literally have TRILLIONS of dollars in lay-away waiting for us to get old.
And like a good Socialist, Sultan Obama looks at all that money and says, “how can I get my hands on all that cash?”
His intention is to take our cash and line his pockets with it, pay off his constituents, help out his peeps on Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid, and basically squander the rest.
That’s what duh gubment does – squander money.
    THAT’S ALL THEY DO.
But what about the baby-boomers that are going to be retiring soon?
    Kill them.
In Pelosi’s bill is legislation that REQUIRES mandatory counseling for people 65 and over to discuss their “end of life” options.
Basically, once you hit 65 duh gubment is going to nag you to death.
Now for most of us, we might have fun telling this bureaucrat to kiss-off when he asks us (politely, I’m sure) to die.
But what about my mother-in-law, in the early stages of Alzheimers?
How easy will it be for that bureaucrat to convince her to sign on the dotted line.
He’ll probably convince her she’s signing an organ donor form.
But at the bottom of the form, it says she has a 9am appt tomorrow with her “life choice” doctor – Dr Mengele.
Will that bureaucrat bother to tell me about it?
    What is his motivation?
His job is to save the State money.
He has to at least save the State as much money as he costs.
And the only way he can save the State money is to kill people (ok, convince (ie, trick) them to die).
Wouldn’t his annual performance review be based on how much money he saved the State?
Wouldn’t that be based on the number of people he “convinced” to die?
Is his next promotion based on his BODY COUNT?!?!
Do you think my mother-in-law would tell us about her 9am appt to die tomorrow?
    SHE DOESN’T KNOW ITS COMING!
8am, knock on the door. “Come on, time for your doctor’s appt.”
“ok, do I need my purse?”
“No ma’am. You don’t need to bring anything at all.”

Under this plan we are looking at the systematic extermination of our senior citizens.
Obama/Pelosi plans have solutions for everyone, including our senior citizens.
Unfortunately, due to the advanced age of our senior citizens, this will be his: FINAL SOLUTION.

Someone please tell me what the difference is between this administration and ADOLF HITLER!

“Health Care” is NOT about “Health Care”.
    This is about SOCIALISM.
    This is National Socialism (NAZI).
This is Progressive National Socialism (ProNAZI).

Here’s a cut and paste article from Newsmax, the Obama Administration seems more interested in helping the enemy, then keeping Americans safe:

Obama Goes Easy on Shoe Bomber
    Thursday, July 30, 2009 3:41 PM

    By: Jim Meyers

The Obama Justice Department has withdrawn the “special administrative measures” imposed at the federal prison in Colorado against “Shoe Bomber” Richard Reid, the jihadist who tried to blow up a trans-Atlantic flight in 2001.

Special administrative measures (SAMs) are security directives, renewable yearly, issued by the attorney general when “there is a substantial risk that a prisoner’s communications, correspondence or contacts with persons could result in death or serious bodily injury” to others.”
National Review Online’s Andy McCarthy writes: “Why abandon the SAMs? Because they were a violation of Reid’s First Amendment rights to free speech and free exercise of his religion, of course.

“So the would-be suicide bomber went on a hunger strike and got results: a cave-in from the Obama Justice Department.”

McCarthy quotes an opinion piece by Debra Burlingame, a former attorney and a director of the National September 11 Memorial Foundation, appearing in Thursday’s Wall Street Journal:
“In a hand-written complaint, [Reid] asserted that he was being illegally prevented from performing daily ‘group prayers in a manner prescribed by my religion.’ Yet the list of Reid’s potential fellow congregants at ADX Florence [the supermax Colorado prison] reads like a Who’s Who of al-Qaeda’s most dangerous members: Ramzi Yousef and his three co-conspirators in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing; 9/11 conspirator Zacarias Moussaoui; ‘Millennium bomber’ Ahmed Ressam; ‘Dirty bomber’ Jose Padilla; Wadih el-Hage, Osama Bin Laden’s personal secretary, convicted in the 1998 U.S. Embassy bombing that killed 247 people.”

McCarthy observes: “The human-rights Left is already incorporating their fabulously successful smear-Gitmo strategy in their attack on our civilian prisons. Even Reid’s hunger-strike is page one in the Gitmo playbook . . .

“Detainee policy in the Obama/Holder Justice Department is now being shaped by former Human Rights Watch lawyer Jennifer Daskal, who thinks incarceration is tantamount to torture.”

Attorney General Eric Holder claims that the Justice Department has a “history of securely detaining and successfully prosecuting terror suspects through the criminal-justice system.”
But McCarthy notes that “to have any chance of securely detaining terrorists in civilian prisons, the SAMs need to be imposed and aggressively enforced.

“Yet, even as Holder is making the ’securely detaining’ argument out of one side of his mouth, he’s abandoning the SAMs out of the other. And all the while, Obama is pushing to close Gitmo and bring scores of these trained terrorists into the civilian prison system. It’s madness.”

Cam you believe that gall of Chris Dodd, I’m sorry he has prostate cancer, but he is using his own illness to try to get the publics support? How low can they go? Every time I think they hit rock bottom they show us they can go further. He has insinuated that this is the same health plan that they have and you can have it too if you support this Bill. Truly Amazing.

    DOCTOR’S ORDERS
    Obamacare called ‘euthanasia bill’
Critic: ‘Reflects regime worse than China’s one-child policy’

    Posted: July 31, 2009

    © 2009 WorldNetDaily

The Democrats’ proposed national health insurance plan would dictate medications, treatments and mental health services; determine coverage’s individuals are allowed to have; and operate with real-time access to personal bank accounts, according to a new analysis.

And it’s worse, a critic said, than China’s mandatory one-child policy.

“In the same way that the bill pushes elderly or the sick toward euthanasia, it is a pill that would cause economic suicide,” said Mathew Staver, founder of Liberty Counsel. “It’s a euthanasia bill for America.”

Congress members have admitted they have not read the more-than-1,000-page bill, and Staver’s organization is one of the first to go through it and offer an analysis.

In the Liberty Counsel analysis, Staver notes that under Section 163, the government would be allowed to have real-time access to individuals’ finances, including direct access to bank accounts for electronic funds transfers.

Under Section 1308, the analysis finds, the government will dictate marriage and family therapy as well as mental health services, including the definitions of those treatments.
Will the elites control life itself? ‘The Emerging Brave New World’ documents the battle against the sanctity of life ethic

Under Section 1401, a Center for Comparative Effectiveness Research would be set up, creating a bureaucracy through which federal employees could determine whether any treatment is “comparatively effective” for any individual based on the cost, likely success and probably the years left in life.

It also, according to Staver, “covers abortions, transsexual surgeries, encourages counseling as to how many children you should have, whether you should increase the interval between children.”

The plan would allow, in Section 1401, for the collection of information about individuals’ health records, both “published and unpublished,” and recommend policies for public access to data.
“It reflects a repressive regime worse than China’s one-child policy,” Staver told WND. “It’s going down the road for a government that manages the most intimate matters of your life regarding health and safety.”

Further, the plan is created to be the “only game in town,” he said. And as people age or get sicker, it includes mandatory “consultations” offering suggestions on how to end life sooner, he said.

The Liberty Counsel staff that did the research was “astonished” by what they found.
    J. Matt Barber, director of cultural affairs for Liberty Counsel, said in a commentary the bill reflects the influence of those who now surround President Obama.
“His choice of Harvard professor and self-styled ‘neo-Malthusain’ John Holdren as ’science czar’ provides the latest and perhaps most troubling example of just how bad America really muffed it last November,” Barber wrote.

“In the name of population control, Holdren has advocated both forced abortion and compulsory sterilization through government-administered tainting of the water supply. In a book he co-authored, entitled ‘Ecoscience: Population, Resources, Environment,’ Holdren calls for a ‘Planetary Regime’ to enforce mandatory abortions and limit the use of natural resources,” he wrote.

Staver pointed to some of Holdren’s outrageous suggestions, such as implanting sterility capsules in girls at puberty and extracting them only when they obtain government permission to have children. For men, he has suggested putting additives in the water system to cause sterility.
Barber wrote that Holdren has affirmed he believes there is “ample authority” under the U.S. Constitution for population growth to be “regulated.”

“Even … laws requiring compulsory abortion … could be sustained under the existing Constitution,” Holdren suggested.

Nina May, founder of Renaissance Women, added to the arguments. She cited a 1948 Hitchcock movie about murder in which the victim’s body is hidden in plain sight.

“The health care bill that Obama proposes has this theme at its core and has in its crosshairs the Baby Boomer engine that is pulling the derailed economy as it takes its final lap toward retirement. In less than two years, Baby Boomers will begin retiring in multitudes, expecting to reclaim the hard earned money they have been paying into Social Security. But this Health Care Bill, HR3200, has other plans for them,” she wrote.

“Those 65 and older will be required to undergo mandatory ‘end of life’ counseling to determine if they are worthy to continue to not only live, but take much needed resources from those who are younger and more worthy to receive them. Counselors will be trained to discuss how to end life sooner, how to decline nutrition and hydration, how to go into hospice, etc.,” she said.
“This will not be done without coercion. For those who have amassed assets enough to take care of themselves in their old age will have these assets confiscated in the name of fiscal responsibility, because by this time, every citizen will be entered into a national database under the guise of improved efficiency. This database will be run by a type of ’star chamber,’ appointed by the president, that will determine whether or not you deserve the much needed operation your personal doctor thinks you need,” she said.

The Liberty Counsel analysis also pointed out the government would be allowed to ration health care procedures, prevent “judicial review” of its decision, tell doctors what income they can have, impose new taxes for anyone not having an “acceptable” coverage, regulate whether seniors can have wheelchairs, penalize hospitals or doctors whose patients require “readmission,” prevent the expansion of hospitals and set up procedures for home visits by health care analysts.

Under Section 440, Liberty Counsel said, the government “will design and implement Home Visitation Program for families with young kids and families that expect children.” And Section 194 provides for a program that has the government “coming into your house and teaching/telling you how to parent,” LC said.

WND reported earlier when Betsy McCaughey, the former New York state officer, told former presidential candidate Fred Thompson during an interview on his radio program the health care plan includes consultations for seniors on how to die.
“One of the most shocking things is page 425, where the Congress would make it mandatory absolutely that every five years people in Medicare have a required counseling session,” she said. “They will tell [them] how to end their life sooner.”

The proposal specifically calls for the consultation to recommend “palliative care and hospice” for seniors in their mandatory counseling sessions. Palliative care and hospice generally focus only on pain relief until death.

The measure requires “an explanation by the practitioner of the continuum of end-of-life services and supports available.”

    Arthur:

I’ve seen other videos and articles making the same claims regarding the Anti-Christ.

According to my research, Anti-Christ as used in the Bible, combines the Greek word, “anti”, with the title commonly given to Jesus. “The main meaning of this word is, “instead of” or, “in place of”. “Antichrist”, therefore means, literally, “someone who stands instead of, or in place of, the real Jesus Christ”. It could be someone who bears the actual name, “Antichrist”. It could be someone who falsely claims to be Christ. It could be a false Christ, promoted by others, in place of the real one. It could be someone who falsely claims authority to speak for and exercise the authority of the real Christ. “

As of yet, Obama has not claimed to be Christ. I’m not an expert on the Bible but my sister and I have done a lot of research and, in my humble opinion, he is more likely to be The False Prophet. The two entities are so linked together that it may be difficult, at first, to tell which is which. He does exhibit the many of the biblical characteristics of the Anti-Christ but not all.

I think you’ll find the following link very interesting.

    http://www3.telus.net/thegoodnews/antichrist.htm

As the writer of the article states in the link states:

“In his unholy schemes, Satan desires to be worshipped as God the Father, with the first beast (the Antichrist) assuming the place of Jesus Christ and the second beast (the False Prophet) taking the place of the Holy Spirit.”

Based on that idea, Obama’s name would link him to Satan as part of the unholy trinity.
Some of the things that I’ve read say that the Anti-Christ will come in the same way as Jesus did. He will arrive accompanied by miracles, signs and wonders. His age will be the same as Jesus’ when he died, thirty three. Obama will be 48 0n August 4th. So even if he doesn’t fit as the Anti-Christ he is an integral part of the evil trinity and is likely preparing the way for him.

If anyone wants to know if we are in the “end times” check out section IV in this link and see what you think:

ObamaCare for Seniors: Sorry, You’re Just Not Worth It Posted by Bobby Eberle

The debate over Barack Obama’s health care plan continues. Senators are trying to cut deals and members of the House of Representatives are doing the same. Democrats are trying to push through a massive government plan that will cost Americans billions and billions of dollars all because Obama wants to take power away from the people and put it in the hands of government.

Throughout this debate, the voices of seniors have been strangely and disturbingly silent. Do they not know the details of ObamaCare? Are they so enamored with this “nice, young man” that they don’t even look at what the plan has to offer? ObamaCare has a strong message for seniors, and it is one they shouldn’t ignore: If you are old in America, then don’t get sick… you’re not worth the cost.

In a recent update by The Heritage Foundation, seniors can read for themselves some of the results of ObamaCare on their daily lives.

First, seniors would face an increasing risk of losing their doctor. With cuts to Medicare reimbursements, more and more physicians are no longer taking Medicare patients. ObamaCare makes it worse: “Obama plans to pay for up to a third of his plan by cutting $313 billion in Medicare reimbursements to health care providers over the next 10 years. This will only force more doctors to stop seeing Medicare patients.”

Obama’s plan also places a disincentive on people to become physicians as his “public” option “could decrease the annual net income of hospitals by $36 billion, while the annual net income of physicians could drop by $33.1 billion.”

Then there is the worry that seniors will lose their coverage. As noted in The Heritage Foundation’s report, “22% of all Medicare patients, which translates to 10.5 million seniors, are currently enrolled in Medicare Advantage plans. These health plans cover all of the traditional Medicare benefits and much more, including coordinated care and care-management programs for enrollees with chronic conditions as well as additional hospitalization and skilled nursing facility stays. President Obama has proposed killing this program entirely.”

And, of course, there is the issue that Obama and the liberal Democrats want seniors and all Americans to ignore: the rationing of health care. Under Obama’s plan, there will be a new government bureaucracy known as a “federal health board.” The purpose of this board is to determine whether various procedures and tests are deemed necessary in the eyes of the federal government. That notion is truly scary.

Obama supporter and infanticide advocate Peter Singer made the case for rationing health care recently in the New York Times, writing: “The task of health care bureaucrats is then to get the best value for the resources they have been allocated.” Conservatives in Congress have given Obamacare supporters every opportunity to disavow government-rationed health care, but Obamacare supporters have voted down every anti-rationing amendment proposed. Make no mistake, Obama plans to pay for expanded coverage for the young and healthy by denying treatments to the old and sick.

As noted in a story by the Associated Press, a group of senators is actually working to squeeze more money out of Medicare. “Under the plan, an independent commission would be empowered to recommend changes in Medicare annually, to take effect automatically unless Congress enacted an alternative.”

As noted in a new Rasmussen Reports poll, only 23% of Americans believe that health care costs will go down under ObamaCare.

Most Americans are happy with their coverage. Most have coverage. Yet in order to cover the ten percent or so of Americans who don’t have it and are having trouble getting it, he wants to impose a new government plan on the other 90% of the country. This is just crazy. ObamaCare is bad news for seniors and bad news for the entire population.

I’ve been doing research regarding our legal rights that are being denied by this President and Congress. I found a few “legalities” that could possibly stop this rape of our Nation.

I’m sending the below email to the conservative legal groups in hopes they react. I will send this email to a few others in the media. Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Bill O’Reilly, Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter. I hope they take it and use it to stop what is happing to this Country. Before I send it out please look at it and make some comments that will help make the message clearer. Here it is:

    July 31, 2009

    Judicial Watch, Inc.
    501 School St, SW
    Suite 700
    Washington, D.C. 20024

    To Whom It May Concern:

I read your website information and you’re entire articles. I’m not a lawyer but I do know the Constitution and almost everything that this administration, from the Czar, the Crap Trap “energy” Bill and now this Healthcare fiasco. Most of what President Obama has done in the almost 7 months in Office have been unconstitutional, you write stories about it; so I’m puzzled as to why haven’t you challenge any of these Bill and Executive Orders. Why didn’t you stop George Bush? Why have you remained so quiet?

The Constitution is a decentralizing and downsizing document. It decentralizes and impedes federal government power. The Constitution gives Congress limited powers. They only are allowed 20 things permitted to do under the Constitution. Here’s the list, they are:

    Borrow money.
    Regulate commerce among states
    Regulate naturalization.
    Regulate bankruptcies.
    Coin money.
    Fix weights and measures.
    Punish counterfeiters.
    Establish post offices.
    Establish post roads.
    Record patents.
    Protect copyrights.
    Create federal courts.
    Punish pirates.
    Declare war.
    Raise an army
    Provide a navy.
    Call up the militia.
    Organize the militia.
    Make laws for Washington, DC.
Make rules for the Army and Navy

If the issue before Congress is not on this list, they shouldn’t be legislating on it. So we all know what they are doing at this very minute is against the Constitution and our Founding Fathers choice to give the Citizens of the United States the ultimate power of control over our own government. Somewhere along them way we allowed them to dictate to us, when it should be us telling them what we want. Why would the Founders give us that power; and I think they did it because power and money can corrupt our leaders and with the latest politically corrupt “officials” I would have to think they were right in doing so.

I don’t see “create a Czar Government office” on the list or force a Bill that gives the American taxpayer’s limited right that are guaranteed under the Constitution. So you see why I’m bewildered? I don’t understand why your organization as well as Liberty Counsel, Landmark Legal Foundation and Alliance Defense Fund are not blocking what is happening to our Country, I would be filing lawsuits at these Unconstitutional rapes of America and the American taxpayers. I would be screaming bloody murder (and have been on online forums) and all I hear are the crickets chirping. Save America before there is nothing left to save.

Can you legally file an injunction against Obama and Congress to cease-and-desist? Go to a Federal Judge and see if he/she would authorize a cease-and-desist order with the intent to halt an illegal activity (shedding our Constitutional rights I assume would be illegal). These outcomes, in which case a Judge can be issued even temporarily injunction while gathering more evidence to obtained a permanent injunction against their activity. But doing absolutely nothing has allowed them to continue to cause irreparable harm to the citizens of this Nation. If an injunction isn’t allowed to block the President and Congress then try something else. But remaining silent is helping no one.

Many government administrative agencies have the ability to issue cease-and-desist orders and frequently use them to halt the sale of unregistered or fraudulent securities (they were asleep for the Bernie Madoff scandal) to halt unsafe banking practices (giving loans to people who couldn’t pay their mortgage) and to enforce licensing statutes. These are all fraudulent laws being push on the American public and our Founders placed checks and balances so the People can block damaging law or unconstitutional laws. Status quo ante would force all these “new” laws and mandates would be legally reverses and return sanity and common sense to the state of affairs that existed previously or before the election of 2008. The Bill of Rights states… No person shall be … deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.

That word “Liberty” is boisterously bander about by our elected officials. I’ve come to the conclusion they have no idea what that word means. It’s used as a political philosophy or ideology and identifies the condition in which an individual has the right to act according to his or her own will. Individualist and classical liberal conceptions of liberty relate to the freedom of the individual from outside compulsion or coercion. Civil liberties are freedoms that protect an individual from the government of the nation in which they reside. Civil liberties set limits for government so that it cannot abuse its power and interfere unduly with the lives of its citizens.
The Bill of Rights protects against abuse of government authority in a legal procedure. Its guarantees stem from English common law which traces back to the Magna Carta in 1215.

Civil and political rights are a class of rights and freedoms that protect individuals from unwarranted government action and ensure one’s ability to participate in the civil and political life of the state without discrimination or repression. Are you paying attention? The more Barack Obama and the liberals in Congress march us towards Socialism. Socialism is about repression. Civil Rights aren’t just for minorities; they are for everyone in this Nation, other than those who are here illegally and the Guantánamo prisoners.

I’m not a lawyer but I’ve been visiting legal libraries searching for an answer to stop the damage Obama and the 111th Congress seems to be doing and also taking our rights away from us, by stopping or hindering our free will. From where I’m sitting our Congress and President have usurped our Civil liberties by limiting our voice (not listening to their constituents) and our freedoms that protect an individual from the government of the nation in which they reside. Civil liberties set limits for government so that it cannot abuse its power and interfere unduly with the lives of its citizens. This President is and has been impeding our rights that are guaranteed under the Constitution and Bill of Rights. And, as far as I know they both still exist for now. So why aren’t these conservative legal organizations such as you aren’t fighting to retain our rights in a Federal Court of Law?

That leads me to believe that you agree with what they are doing, so do you? Why are you being so silent? If the shoe were on the other foot the ACLU would be all over this misuse of power.
Another question to ask is why aren’t the American Civil Liberties Union, who stole purpose is to protect our Civil Rights? I guess we aren’t a minority, drug abusers, Gays or Lesbians or child pornographers. I guess they are just too busy fighting the wrongs of pedophiles to worry about other Americans civil liberties.

The principle of the government must respect all of the legal rights that are owed to a person according to that Nation laws. As developed through a large body of case law in the United States, this principle gives individuals a varying ability to enforce their rights against alleged violations by governments and their agents, but normally not against other private citizens.
Due process has also been frequently interpreted as placing limitations on laws and legal proceedings, in order for judges instead of legislators to define and guarantee fundamental fairness, justice, and liberty. This interpretation has often proven controversial, and is analogous to the concepts of natural justice, and procedural justice used in various other jurisdictions.

File a lawsuit against Congress and this President, use my name to get it started, I don’t care, what I care about is letting them do this and knowing that they are destroying our Country by changing the rules as they go along. The best time to file something is right now when Congress adjourns for summer break.

    DO SOMETHING!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you for taking the time out to listen to my concerns and hope that this email will give you the push to do what is legally right for most Americans. Fight back on their socialist agenda.

I found a list of Congressional townhall’s being set up for their district constituents. You can review the list and choose the time and date that’s best for you.

Ladywolf, the several definitions of the antichrist that you posted give much more dimension to the word than does Merriam-Webster’s simplistic “one who denies or opposes Christ,” and I found them very interesting.

Obama, to me, is a garden-variety narcissist. Many worship him, but no one more fervently than he worships himself. His house of cards is tumbling all around him and he shows no sign of realizing that it is happening because there is something wrong with him—not with the remaining 300 million Americans who are beginning to wake up from the stupor induced by unquestioning adoration.

No miracles. Just another False Prophet.

Kurt, I live a bit south of Newtown, but I know it well. Connecticut voters love to call themselves Independents. In their philosophical muddle, they have repeatedly sent a Republican to the State House and a Light Blue Dog, along with a deceitful liberal, to the U.S. Senate.

    NLTZ Family,

Not sure if family members of NLTZ are aware of the blog site shown below. I stumbled upon it about 6 months ago and enjoy all points contained therein. Most articles have between 0 and 2 comments, which is a shame, as I find the ideas expressed to be on target, easy to read and does not belabor the point. This chap definitely deserves a bigger audience than is being attracted at the moment (my apologies if JAM is female). Like Larry’s NLTZ, ‘cannedjam’ is more than a little under exposed. Please take the time to have a squizz.

WTF does that bitch think we’ve been doing for the past 8 F’ng years?
    FIGHTING TERRORISM!
    But wait!
First, they said we couldn’t use the word “terrorist”.
Then, they changed the definition of a “terrorist”.
Now, “terrorist/ism” is back in vogue.
Only this time, the “terrorists” are:
    – your Sunday-school teacher.
    – your pastor.
    – your son returning from Iraq.
    – anyone who asked, “hey, why isn’t the government adhering to the Constition”?
    – anyone who voiced the opinion “well, I’m against abortion”.
    – anyone who believes they have a right to own a weapon.
    Basically, its YOU.

    FUCK JANET NAPOLITANO!

    STITCH!

hey guys, I have been getting some traffic from here based off of the link from Arthur. Thanks for the interest. I appreciate the kind words especially since I am trying to rebuild my readership. I once enjoyed a modest but substantial following when my site was more of a personal blog in college, however I left it fallow for a while and only now it is upticking a bit as people find their way back. Anyway, this is the first time I have come across NLT and I like what I see, def gonna add it to my regulars.

    thanks guys-
