The “Town Liar” has advised us that what was once a “national crisis” is now “not as bad as we think”. Don’t worry, he will have something altogether different to say tomorrow. You can file every bit of it under: “Clueless collectivism”..
That is right, at the “business roundtable” meeting of “top executives”, our own warm and cuddly “Cliff Hoax-table” decided to let everyone assembled know that he believes that “his plans will speed recovery”. One has to wonder whether the executives thought that this was one of those “meetings” where an impersonator/comedian comes in and says silly and nonsensical things, much to the delight of the group. Those who have yet to experience the Obama obtusity might have believed that this was a put up job, but to the rest of us who have unfortunately been marinated in his melodious malarkey, this is just another reminder that “A mind is a terrible thing to waste”.. Let us peruse a few of the Marxist malaprops..
Obama said that “Americans shouldn’t be whipsawed by bursts of either bad or good news” and he was “highly optimistic about the long term..” After just enduring the nearly year long “whipsaw bursts of either good or bad news” known as the primary and Presidential campaigns, a place where the “news” was anything but, the imbecilic irony of his statement couldn’t have been lost upon the executives.
“I am obviously an object of this constantly varying assessment. I am the object in chief of this varying assessment..” It seems that the progressive Pinocchio has managed to tame his proboscis’ proclivity to expand when he tells a lie. Obama himself is the “object in chief” when things “appear” to be going well. When the “news” turns a bit dimmer, the “object in chief” becomes the “obfuscator in chief” and the “object” becomes the evil “Crawford Curmudgeon”.. Or it becomes “the economy that I/we have inherited”.. Obama’s propensity towards progressive puling after only fifty-two days is quickly becoming agonizingly annoying..
You are the President of the United States therefore, you are the “object in chief”. Maybe when you get around to doing something right, the world that expects results as opposed to excuses will go back to swallowing the Ebony Eucharist..
“I don’t think things are ever as good as they say, or ever as bad as they say”.. That actually depends on who this “they” is. When “they” is an inexperienced former community activist and organizer, I would say that that is very sound advise.
“Things two years ago were not as good as we thought because there were a lot of underlying weaknesses in the economy..” Again, I have to ask, who is this “we”? You cannot count among this “we” George Bush and John McCain, because they had been warning about the Clinton/Frank financial fiction and fighting the Demokratic House and Senate even prior to that time. These “underlying weaknesses” were put in place during the Bill (as in “bill” you much later..) Clinton pogroms. “Two years ago” was the time when the Demokrats took control of both the House and the Senate. These nagging little details always seem to escape the Obama oratory..
As always, the vacuous vagueries bubbled to the surface of his recital.. “My long term projections are highly optimistic, if we take care of some of these long-term structural problems..” “Some”? Why not “take care” of ALL of them? Since words have no meaning to the leftists who are hypnotized by the moronic mantras and the fictitious folderol from any licentious liberal, he should have resorted to his old campaign rhetoric and promised the world..
Straight from the “blind squirrel finds nuts every once and awhile” theory, Obama said that “the current economic crisis was precipitated by an illusion of prosperity”.. I would be willing to allow the points to go to Obama on this if he would have followed the statement with “the illusion came from the nineties delusion of prosperity ushered in by Demokratic mistakes and miscalculations that I recognize and promise to rectify by allowing the free market to dictate the recovery, not the liberal collectivist Congress”..
No, he followed it up with, “(I want) government to right the ship and then let private enterprise do its magic..” The two crucial words there have to be “and then”. Liberal government is all about increasing its size and scope. It is also all about penalizing “private enterprise”. Who in their right mind would expect a liberal government to “right the ship” when they spend all of their time enthusiastically poking holes in the ship so that we can all sink to the bottom “equally”..
Tim “Turbo Tax” Geithner “the center (scapegoat) of Obama’s economic policy” is in London as we speak, getting grilled by the finance officials from the “Group of 20 nations”. Here’s hoping that Obama didn’t have him stop at the local Blockbuster video for another basket of clumsy gifts for the British PM before he took off..
In an article entitled, “Obama: Economic crisis ‘not as bad as we think”, we discover that the first round of Obama tax INCREASES starts in 2011, just in time for the mid term elections to have passed. The left is still adorably clinging to the “collectivist new math” while claiming that these taxes will only be on “the rich” as they continue the Clinton legacy of tossing out the “$250,000” figure as the ONLY targets for their tax bloodlust.. I will consider this “Larry’s corollary”: “Words have no meaning to the left, numbers have no value to them either”..
Geithner said that the taxes will “kick in after the economy was expected to be in recovery..” Again, allow me to point out the two crucial words, “was expected”. If this doesn’t occur due to the Marxist meddling of the Obama Bolsheviks and brigands, we will hear, “The mess left by the previous administration was bigger than expected.” If this “recovery” does occur, what better way to slow a “recovery” than to raise taxes! For those of you who might be curious as to why the New Deal slowed the recovery from the Great Depression, simply study the “works” being submitted by the Obama masochists and acolytes.
Geithner was pressed by Senator Mike Crapo from Idaho (who better to expose the fecal fascism of this economic effluvium than someone with the surname ‘Crapo’..) “about whether the administration would let the increases take effect if the economy had not recovered in two years”. Geithner’s response: “We will have to see how the economy evolves”.. For those who are fond of brevity, his answer actually was “Hell yes, we would!!”.
Here the liberals “theory of economical evolution” makes as much sense and is based upon the same low degree of fact as the Darwinian evolutionary flatulence.. I hold out very little hope for the economy “evolving” while it is in the grimy hands of the liberals because “liberal evolution” hasn’t evolved or advanced that far from the socialist excrement from which it emerged over fifty years ago..
Simultaneously, “Boner” Biden was meeting with state officials at the White House warning them about “wasting” stimulus money. “If we don’t get this right folks, this is the end of the ability to convince Congress that anything should go to the states..” Here “Big Brother”, suddenly okey dokey because the liberals are at the controls, is concerned about “waste”.. (Stop laughing..) “Added Obama, “If we see money being misspent, we’re going to put a stop to it”.. (I mean it, stop laughing, this is serious..)
I can think of no other way to end this: this is nothing more than the black calling the kettle pot..
