Just when you thought that it was safe to pick on the “evil businessmen” or to join the “beat around the Bush” leftist slugs, we have discovered that the imbecilic liberal political hacks are the ones to pick on. You have to be quick though, they specialize in oily evasions and dastardly diversions.

The “words” are flying faster and more fictitiously than they did during the “Obamaramadrama” of 2008 when the beatification process was merely in the planning stages. Now the liberal bottom feeders are trying to feed off of each other like cannibalistic communists.

Just yesterday, Chris Dodd (L-Conn /”con”) was tap dancing for the bearded Bolshevik, Wolf Blitzer. According to CNN’s web site, at 5:56 PM EST, Dodd told CNN that “I added (the) bonus loophole”. That is all good and well, a liberal is taking responsibility for his irresponsibility, we may be getting somewhere.. Let us fast-forward one day. Now according to the Bloomberg web site, Dodd is now tossing the rotting “bonus” corpse back onto the stoop at the White House.

Just as the liberal team mascot was busying himself as a college basketball prognosticator, firmly ensconced within the warm and fuzzy knowledge that dopey Dodd was going to “take one for the totalitarian team”, the plan seemed to be subject to “change”.. The liberals can’t even trust each other so the adage that “there is no honor among thieves” is apparently true.

Soon after Duke basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski, reminded the socialist sham dunker of what his responsibilities should be, (“The economy is something he should focus on, probably more than the brackets..”) Chris Dodd “Kerry’d” the homey team and the ridiculous ride upon the moronic merry go round of Demokratic politics began anew.

Dodd, the Senate Banking Committee Chairman and the most appreciative recipient of the generosity of AIG’s political contributory benevolence, now claims that the Obama administration “asked him to insert a provision” that effectively authorized the now “outrageous” bonuses. Obama now realizes how the “House Financial Services Committee Chairman” (it’s time to play “Name That Goon”.. More later.) feels when provisions are “inserted” by a friend..

The tried and true liberal excuse that works for a ridiculous rookie like Obama also gets trotted out by the wily veterans of the hammer and sickle party.. Dodd said that he did this “without realizing the changes would benefit AIG.” More Obama “change” “inserted” into the middle class.. “I did so at the request of administration officials, who gave no indication that this was in any way related to AIG, I was completely unaware..” Here the liberal juvenile justification of being notoriously naïve is just the socialist’s sempiternal avoidance of personal responsibility. The softies duck responsibility so often, the moronic mallards squawk when they squat..

Saying that “I was completely unaware” in no way excuses his liberal liability, except within the malignant minds of the Lilliputian left. As the Chairman of the Senate Banking Committee, you have an obligation to be “aware”, especially when you are personally involved in the drafting of the “New Steal”.

Then the reports of “anonymous administration sources”, who either crawled out from under the Obama desk or who are just the figments of the fertile “impartial” media’s imaginations, started to filter out. “Obama didn’t insist on the change” they all said “on the condition of anonymity”.. Not believing it. Remember that this is the candidate of “change” regardless of impact.

The solipsistic socialists are left out to dry on this one as no Republicans in the House and only three Quisling Republican Senators “supported the stimulus measure”.

The liberal “revenue reflex” is their apparent cure for their inherent ineptitude. Liberals Max Baucus and Chuckie Schumer have decided to “tax” the bonuses at the 90 percent rate which is the schematic that the Obama caliphate will emulate and inflict upon the “rich”, otherwise known as the “middle class” once this scandalous stink bomb manages to blow over..

Dodd doddered on, “Fortunately, we wrote this amendment in a way that allows the treasury Department to go back and recover the money for taxpayers”.. Great, a liberal loophole to replace a liberal loophole.. “Recover the money for taxpayers”? No, this “revenue” liberally stolen from the middle class will be put back into the mix, that way they can have another spin of the redistributionist roulette wheel in the Offal Office while they all stand about waiting to see who the “next big winner” will be when the Marxist marble drops..

Try to follow this liberal chicanery: the liberal government takes money from us in the form of taxes, gives it to a corporation, the corporation takes part of it and gives prearranged bonuses to a few executives, then the government takes it back from the executives in the form of taxes.. While still delirious from their orchestrated “outrage” of Demokratic diversion, they then conveniently forget to give it back to us.. So many elitist enterprises, so little revenue..

Even useless Schumer sent out an omnivorous organ grinder and a Demokratic dancing monkey to perform for the media, “the Senator supported a provision on the Senate floor that would have prevented these types of bonuses, but he was not on the conference committee that negotiated the final language..” AKA: “It was someone else’s fault”..

Was Schumer “locked out” like the Republicans were? If Schumer was as consumed with concern BEFORE the liberals were caught as he would like you to believe, the simple request from a liberal with as much communist clout as he has would have gotten him the “final language” to parse and peruse. “Final language” that the Obama “Hurry up offense” wanted to obscure. “Final language” that Schumer VOTED FOR.

The Democrats have been “victimized” not only by their own idiotic plan of voting without any scrutiny but they are now hilariously trying to “victimizing” each other. The liberals leaped before they looked because this was their own bill, they wouldn’t sabotage each other, would they? Schumer “trusted” another liberal, which is never a wise thing to do. The next step in this poltroon polka will be everyone going all “Kerry”. Prepare to hear the “Bolshevik bellow”, “I voted for the bonuses before I voted against them!!”

The Chairman of the “House Financial Services Committee”, Barney Frank, (remember, “Name That Goon”? I can name that loon in one note..) the liberals lisping Bernie Madoff said, “I think the time has come to exercise our ownership rights”.. Barney, like all good liberal communists, wants to get his chubby sausage fingers onto another entity in order to properly and sufficiently “Obama” it. AIG is 79.9 percent “owned” by the Federal Reserve Bank so it would appear that Ben Bernanke calls the shots, so Frank can’t “insert” his frank into this campfire.. Frank’s fascist fantasy of putting on his favorite skirt and skipping down to the opening of the first “all gay” bank, the “First Federal Frank and Lust”, will have to wait for a while..

The liberals are actually well practiced when it comes to this ruse because the “bonus bonanza” is also ready to play out at Fannie Mae. The Federal Housing Finance Agency, which took over Fannie Mae last September, authorized over four million dollars in “retention” bonuses for four executives. When liberals like Barney start getting indignant about these “outrageous” bonuses, it is clearly another case of “The lady doth protest too much”..

So as the nation’s Napoleon (Obama’s “first hundred days”, are being lovingly tabulated by the grovelers at CNN, will probably mirror Napoleon’s “Hundred Days” which included Waterloo..) primps himself for a little chin wag with Jay Leno, (Picture: Nero fiddling..) everyone around him is doing the dazed and dizzy dance of Demokratic diversion.

As “entertaining” as the idea might be of hearing Obama bragging about his “accomplishments” with Leno, nothing beats watching the liberals all start jostling for the best position to throw each other under the bus..

    I am letting the cat out of the bag today.

    I hope that the article in a different form is considered redundant to you.

    This is the version of “Jostling For The Best Position” that will be in the third installment of the NLTZ book series.

    Here is the thought process on my end: why try to sell a book to someone when they can read/print the same material at the NLTZ web site.

    EVERY article that I have written has either had a few paragraphs left out or, usually the next day, I will add a paragraph or two, or much more.

    Print out the FIRST version and see how much different the “Book” edition is. The first version was 1,120 words, the book version tipped the scales at 1,326 words.An extra 206 words for your consideration.

    This ball will be rolling very shortly. I hope the idea of a NLTZ book series sounds good to you.

    Thanks as always for making this site the BEST place for conservative thought.

    And, as always, please keep the “Thought Of The Day” site in mind. Usually the “TOTD” gets about 100 hits. I personally think that it is worth at least half of the number of hits that NLTZ gets..

Use care until you become familiar with the effects. Whenever possibly drink alcoholic beverages before attempting to make contact with Joe Biden. You may become light headed or dizzy. You should avoid prolong or excessive exposure to direct and/or indirect contact with Nancy Pelosi’s artificial sentiment. By ignoring these warning signs will limits our liability claims.     For years we’ve been hearing how its the “Republican Wall Street execs” that are stealing from the “little guy” and destroying our economy (forget the fact that our economy has been growing by leaps and bounds for over 200 frikken years -until now).
    But now we find out that its the DEMOKRATS’ cronies in the top exec positions at AIG that get the fat cat bonuses and then systematically funnel millions of it back into the Democrats’ pockets. Chief of which are Dodd and Obama.
    NO ONE is bailing out the small businesses.
    The Democrats don’t have their people in any of those. They’re all at the big corps- you know, the ones “too big to fail”.
    They mean, too big for the DEMOKRATS to allow them to fail.
    AIG is just one big money laundering machine for the DEMOKRATS!
    We need to take a close look at ALL of the corporations they (Demokrats) “say” are too big to fail.
    I bet we’ll find a trail of money right back to their own pockets.


  6. Stitch, weren’t Dodd and Obama the ones who benefited from massive donations from Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? I think I recall reading that Obama was the number 1 recipient of donations to his campaign by these two mortgage company’s when they were going under.

    The Demos are the top recipients of F&F kickbacks, and Dodd and Obama are at the top of the list.
    Now, Obama and duh gubment controls these “too big to fail” corporations with their histories of huge kickback schemes to their own party.
    Now the Demos are the ones responsible for “reporting” the finances of these corporations to….duh gubment.. ie, THEMSELVES.
    Basically, Obama is cutting out the middleman – the top execs at AIG (and the rest) are being replaced with Demokrats.
    That gives AIG (and the rest) “direct deposit” of their profits right into Obama’s pockets.
    No need to give the top execs bonuses, then to have them “donate” millions to the Demokrats – minus their cut.
    Now the “top execs” ARE the Demokrats.
    So now 100% of those bonuses goes straight into the Demos “Change” purse.


  9. Biden said there was a 30% chance these bailouts would fail (I’m assuming he was sober when he said it, so I will hold him to his words).
    But now that they are in process to spend 100’s of billions MORE on bailouts, can we now safely say that the bailout was a 100% failure?
    And if we can, then why the hell are we doing it AGAIN?

    If we’re going in the wrong direction, it doesn’t make sense to go even further in the wrong direction.

Stitch, oh Stitch, You’ve forgotten its math, and we all know how bad Congress is with mathematical equations, specifically the Democrats, you know counting more votes then there are people registered to vote. They would be lost if they didn’t have their calculator. Unfortunately no one showed them how to turn it on. They’re working on it though. So, please bared with them, they are waiting for the instructions that contain pictures to get published. But, they’ve been waiting for the Communist Manifesto to be translated in to English since 2000. So, it will be delayed for sometime. Liberal’s are incapable of multi-tasking. They cannot crew gum and walk at the same time, it throws there rhythm off or say watch the college basketball teams in the NCCA finals and bet on the winner, appear on a late night talk show, tell some jokes, attend a town meeting in California to start campaigning for the 2012 Presidential elections and abandon his teleprompter as he searches for the correct words in his speech. Aaaaah, uhhhh, whew… it really is hard to go it alone without my trusty tool. How does he do it all? Saying good night to his daughters and forgets to have his speech change in the teleprompter from last week it took him ten minutes until he realized he wasn’t talking to Prime Minister, Gordon Brown. And, shouts, your not a half blind liberal politician, remind me again just who are you?

    He relies on that thing too much and he made a complete fool of himself at these last town meetings. The MSM tells us to give the guy a break because he has a lot on his plate, but he seems to be more worried about the NCCA playoffs then he is about the economy. I expect nothing else from the very worse.

    Obama isn’t doing anything about the economic crisis…because HE’S NOT SUPPOSE TO DO ANYTHING EXPECT CONTINUE TO SPEND SO THE FEDERAL RESERVE CAN CONTINUE TO PRINT. What your savings didn’t lose in the Market will be destroyed by devaluing the currency.

    The distraction on the AIG bonuses is a shallow attempt to distract from what is actually going on.

    The robber-barrons are in full assault. Eliot Spitzer had a rather informative AIG op article in this past week, and is on TV today, despite having lost his elitist position due to selfish arrogance.

    I encourage everyone to watch The Obama Deception and re-read the constitution. We cannot afford to be distracted, although we need to be aware.

    When Clinton was sworn in in Jan 1993, the Demokrats controlled Kongress.
    Slick Willy then gave us the LARGEST TAX INCREASE IN US HISTORY.
    But, that caused BOTH houses of Congress in Nov 1994 to go to the Republicans.
    The regret of the liberals is that they should have spent it when they had it.

    I agree with Eileen, both versions are good, but I think this one is better.

    I watched the Obama Deception video today; it left me with a huge chill. If true, that explains so much. If politicians are only a secondary problem, how do we fight the real problem? Is it even possible to dismantle the Federal Reserve?

    Has anyone read the book “None Dare Call It Conspiracy” by Gary Allen? I think it was published in 1974. At any rate, this video reminded me of that book.

  21. beyond disgusted, I read None Dare Call It Conspiracy back then. (My brother was a member of the John Birch Society from the mid-1950s onward, and I read all the American Opinion magazines and all the booklets he got, besides the classic book, Pawns In The Game.)

    The real eye-opener was the booklet by Gary Allan about Kissinger being a double agent for the Nazis back in the 1940s. (Why does that not surprise me?)

    Being an early reader of the NWO plans, it did not affect me emotionally in the least in a negative manner after watching the “Obama Deception”, having become inured to its machinations a long time ago.

  22. I guess we should create all new petitions. The action Buffet from site most of the faxes and phone calls are about immigration. We should start there first to inundate Congress with angry faxes and phone calls.

    Tomorrow I will start the petitions. Who do we want to focus on? Dodd, he really needs to go. The lying about his involvement with the Dodd Amendment is just the tip of the iceberg. We have his special mortgages, kickbacks for legislation that benefited Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, who then took those funds and donated to Obama and Dodd and labeled it as support. It’s still fresh in everyone’s mind. We won’t be able to remove Obama. I need to go to the library this week to research if we can demand a Presidential recall, to do a do-over. Which will include reviewing how to legally remove ACORN votes, questionable registrations? Can we declare them invalid the same way that Al Franken is trying to do in Minnesota? What laws are currently in place and review the Constitution and the Bill of Rights? I want to see also if the public can demand term limits and see if there’s any language in the Constitution and/or Bill of Rights that prevents us from doing that. If there is, then we would have to force Congress to create a new Amendment to the Constitution that allows us to demand changes. The likelihood of them doing that would be unlikely.
    What I can find out I will post here. Then we need to advertise the online petitions by flooding Fox News and their show host. Then, flood talk radio with information about the petitions, their websites address. Advertise on Town Hall blogs, Human Events blogs, Heritage Foundation Blogs, Red States, National Review, the American Conservative, Drudge Report, Ann Coulter, Laura Ingraham, O’Reilly, Sean Hannity, Judicial Watch, and the American Spectator. Hit all Forums, Pundits and conservative columnist like Dick Morris, Michelle Malkin, Mark Steyn, Glenn Beck, Ted Nugget, Chuck Norris, the Wall Street Journal Editor section, Capitalism Magazine, and then hit the Military Times Network available. Contact, ArmyTimes, NavyTimes, AirForceTimes, and MarineTimes, PoetPatriot, the military blog BlackFive, the NRA, Neil Cavuto, Conservative Underground, Bernie Goldberg, Newt Gingrich, Michael Reagan, Michael Savage and Dennis Miller. We could also include the Libertarians as well.

    Everyone is just fed up and I read everyone’s frustration that Congress is no longer listening to us, and if they continue down this path, the public will tell them to pack up your crap and get the hell out.     Neither House, during the Session of Congress, shall, without the Consent of the other, adjourn for more than three days, nor to any other Place than that in which the two Houses shall be sitting.

    Section. 6.

    The Senators and Representatives shall receive a Compensation for their Services, to be ascertained by Law, and paid out of the Treasury of the United States. They shall in all Cases, except Treason, Felony and Breach of the Peace, be privileged from Arrest during their Attendance at the Session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.

    No Senator or Representative shall, during the Time for which he was elected, be appointed to any civil Office under the Authority of the United States, which shall have been created, or the Emoluments whereof shall have been encreased during such time; and no Person holding any Office under the United States, shall be a Member of either House during his Continuance in Office.

    Section. 7.

    All Bills for raising Revenue shall originate in the House of Representatives; but the Senate may propose or concur with Amendments as on other Bills.

    Every Bill which shall have passed the House of Representatives and the Senate, shall, before it become a Law, be presented to the President of the United States: If he approve he shall sign it, but if not he shall return it, with his Objections to that House in which it shall have originated, who shall enter the Objections at large on their Journal, and proceed to reconsider it. If after such Reconsideration two thirds of that House shall agree to pass the Bill, it shall be sent, together with the Objections, to the other House, by which it shall likewise be reconsidered, and if approved by two thirds of that House, it shall become a Law. But in all such Cases the Votes of both Houses shall be determined by yeas and Nays, and the Names of the Persons voting for and against the Bill shall be entered on the Journal of each House respectively. If any Bill shall not be returned by the President within ten Days (Sundays excepted) after it shall have been presented to him, the Same shall be a Law, in like Manner as if he had signed it, unless the Congress by their Adjournment prevent its Return, in which Case it shall not be a Law.

    Every Order, Resolution, or Vote to which the Concurrence of the Senate and House of Representatives may be necessary (except on a question of Adjournment) shall be presented to the President of the United States; and before the Same shall take Effect, shall be approved by him, or being disapproved by him, shall be repassed by two thirds of the Senate and House of Representatives, according to the Rules and Limitations prescribed in the Case of a Bill.

    Section. 8.

    The Congress shall have Power To lay and collect Taxes, Duties, Imposts and Excises, to pay the Debts and provide for the common Defence and general Welfare of the United States; but all Duties, Imposts and Excises shall be uniform throughout the United States;

    To borrow Money on the credit of the United States;

    To regulate Commerce with foreign Nations, and among the several States, and with the Indian Tribes;

    To establish an uniform Rule of Naturalization, and uniform Laws on the subject of Bankruptcies throughout the United States;

    To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures;

    To provide for the Punishment of counterfeiting the Securities and current Coin of the United States;

    To establish Post Offices and post Roads;

    To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries;

    To constitute Tribunals inferior to the supreme Court;

    To define and punish Piracies and Felonies committed on the high Seas, and Offences against the Law of Nations;

    To declare War, grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal, and make Rules concerning Captures on Land and Water;

    To raise and support Armies, but no Appropriation of Money to that Use shall be for a longer Term than two Years;

    To provide and maintain a Navy;

    To make Rules for the Government and Regulation of the land and naval Forces;

    To provide for calling forth the Militia to execute the Laws of the Union, suppress Insurrections and repel Invasions;

    To provide for organizing, arming, and disciplining, the Militia, and for governing such Part of them as may be employed in the Service of the United States, reserving to the States respectively, the Appointment of the Officers, and the Authority of training the Militia according to the discipline prescribed by Congress;

    To exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States, and to exercise like Authority over all Places purchased by the Consent of the Legislature of the State in which the Same shall be, for the Erection of Forts, Magazines, Arsenals, dock-Yards, and other needful Buildings;–And

    To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.

    Section. 9.

    The Migration or Importation of such Persons as any of the States now existing shall think proper to admit, shall not be prohibited by the Congress prior to the Year one thousand eight hundred and eight, but a Tax or duty may be imposed on such Importation, not exceeding ten dollars for each Person.

    The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.

    No Bill of Attainder or ex post facto Law shall be passed.

    No Capitation, or other direct, Tax shall be laid, unless in Proportion to the Census or enumeration herein before directed to be taken.

    No Tax or Duty shall be laid on Articles exported from any State.

    No Preference shall be given by any Regulation of Commerce or Revenue to the Ports of one State over those of another; nor shall Vessels bound to, or from, one State, be obliged to enter, clear, or pay Duties in another.

    No Money shall be drawn from the Treasury, but in Consequence of Appropriations made by Law; and a regular Statement and Account of the Receipts and Expenditures of all public Money shall be published from time to time.

    No Title of Nobility shall be granted by the United States: And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.

    Section. 10.

    No State shall enter into any Treaty, Alliance, or Confederation; grant Letters of Marque and Reprisal; coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts; pass any Bill of Attainder, ex post facto Law, or Law impairing the Obligation of Contracts, or grant any Title of Nobility.

    No State shall, without the Consent of the Congress, lay any Imposts or Duties on Imports or Exports, except what may be absolutely necessary for executing it’s inspection Laws: and the net Produce of all Duties and Imposts, laid by any State on Imports or Exports, shall be for the Use of the Treasury of the United States; and all such Laws shall be subject to the Revision and Controul of the Congress.

    No State shall, without the Consent of Congress, lay any Duty of Tonnage, keep Troops, or Ships of War in time of Peace, enter into any Agreement or Compact with another State, or with a foreign Power, or engage in War, unless actually invaded, or in such imminent Danger as will not admit of delay.


    Article. II.

    Section. 1.

    The executive Power shall be vested in a President of the United States of America. He shall hold his Office during the Term of four Years, and, together with the Vice President, chosen for the same Term, be elected, as follows:

    Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.

    The Electors shall meet in their respective States, and vote by Ballot for two Persons, of whom one at least shall not be an Inhabitant of the same State with themselves. And they shall make a List of all the Persons voted for, and of the Number of Votes for each; which List they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the Seat of the Government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate. The President of the Senate shall, in the Presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the Certificates, and the Votes shall then be counted. The Person having the greatest Number of Votes shall be the President, if such Number be a Majority of the whole Number of Electors appointed; and if there be more than one who have such Majority, and have an equal Number of Votes, then the House of Representatives shall immediately chuse by Ballot one of them for President; and if no Person have a Majority, then from the five highest on the List the said House shall in like Manner chuse the President. But in chusing the President, the Votes shall be taken by States, the Representation from each State having one Vote; A quorum for this purpose shall consist of a Member or Members from two thirds of the States, and a Majority of all the States shall be necessary to a Choice. In every Case, after the Choice of the President, the Person having the greatest Number of Votes of the Electors shall be the Vice President. But if there should remain two or more who have equal Votes, the Senate shall chuse from them by Ballot the Vice President.

    The Congress may determine the Time of chusing the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.

    No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

    In Case of the Removal of the President from Office, or of his Death, Resignation, or Inability to discharge the Powers and Duties of the said Office, the Same shall devolve on the Vice President, and the Congress may by Law provide for the Case of Removal, Death, Resignation or Inability, both of the President and Vice President, declaring what Officer shall then act as President, and such Officer shall act accordingly, until the Disability be removed, or a President shall be elected.

    The President shall, at stated Times, receive for his Services, a Compensation, which shall neither be increased nor diminished during the Period for which he shall have been elected, and he shall not receive within that Period any other Emolument from the United States, or any of them.

    Before he enter on the Execution of his Office, he shall take the following Oath or Affirmation:–“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

    Section. 2.

    The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offences against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.

    He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law, or in the Heads of Departments.

    The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.

    Section. 3.

    He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States.

    Section. 4.

    The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.


    Article III.

    Section. 1.

    The judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. The Judges, both of the supreme and inferior Courts, shall hold their Offices during good Behaviour, and shall, at stated Times, receive for their Services a Compensation, which shall not be diminished during their Continuance in Office.

    Section. 2.

    The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority;–to all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls;–to all Cases of admiralty and maritime Jurisdiction;–to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party;–to Controversies between two or more States;– between a State and Citizens of another State,–between Citizens of different States,–between Citizens of the same State claiming Lands under Grants of different States, and between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects.

    In all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, and those in which a State shall be Party, the supreme Court shall have original Jurisdiction. In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction, both as to Law and Fact, with such Exceptions, and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make.

    The Trial of all Crimes, except in Cases of Impeachment, shall be by Jury; and such Trial shall be held in the State where the said Crimes shall have been committed; but when not committed within any State, the Trial shall be at such Place or Places as the Congress may by Law have directed.

    Section. 3.

    Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

    The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.


    Article. IV.

    Section. 1.

    Full Faith and Credit shall be given in each State to the public Acts, Records, and judicial Proceedings of every other State. And the Congress may by general Laws prescribe the Manner in which such Acts, Records and Proceedings shall be proved, and the Effect thereof.

    Section. 2.

    The Citizens of each State shall be entitled to all Privileges and Immunities of Citizens in the several States.

    A Person charged in any State with Treason, Felony, or other Crime, who shall flee from Justice, and be found in another State, shall on Demand of the executive Authority of the State from which he fled, be delivered up, to be removed to the State having Jurisdiction of the Crime.

    No Person held to Service or Labour in one State, under the Laws thereof, escaping into another, shall, in Consequence of any Law or Regulation therein, be discharged from such Service or Labour, but shall be delivered up on Claim of the Party to whom such Service or Labour may be due.

    Section. 3.

    New States may be admitted by the Congress into this Union; but no new State shall be formed or erected within the Jurisdiction of any other State; nor any State be formed by the Junction of two or more States, or Parts of States, without the Consent of the Legislatures of the States concerned as well as of the Congress.

    The Congress shall have Power to dispose of and make all needful Rules and Regulations respecting the Territory or other Property belonging to the United States; and nothing in this Constitution shall be so construed as to Prejudice any Claims of the United States, or of any particular State.

    Section. 4.

    The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened), against domestic Violence.


    Article. V.

    The Congress, whenever two thirds of both Houses shall deem it necessary, shall propose Amendments to this Constitution, or, on the Application of the Legislatures of two thirds of the several States, shall call a Convention for proposing Amendments, which, in either Case, shall be valid to all Intents and Purposes, as Part of this Constitution, when ratified by the Legislatures of three fourths of the several States, or by Conventions in three fourths thereof, as the one or the other Mode of Ratification may be proposed by the Congress; Provided that no Amendment which may be made prior to the Year One thousand eight hundred and eight shall in any Manner affect the first and fourth Clauses in the Ninth Section of the first Article; and that no State, without its Consent, shall be deprived of its equal Suffrage in the Senate.


    Article. VI.

    All Debts contracted and Engagements entered into, before the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be as valid against the United States under this Constitution, as under the Confederation.

    This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding.

    The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.


    Article. VII.

    The Ratification of the Conventions of nine States, shall be sufficient for the Establishment of this Constitution between the States so ratifying the Same.

    The Word, “the,” being interlined between the seventh and eighth Lines of the first Page, the Word “Thirty” being partly written on an Erazure in the fifteenth Line of the first Page, The Words “is tried” being interlined between the thirty second and thirty third Lines of the first Page and the Word “the” being interlined between the forty third and forty fourth Lines of the second Page.

    Note: The following text is a transcription of the first ten amendments to the Constitution in their original form. These amendments were ratified December 15, 1791, and form what is known as the “Bill of Rights.”


    Amendment I

    Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.


    Amendment II

    A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.


    Amendment III

    No Soldier shall, in time of peace be quartered in any house, without the consent of the Owner, nor in time of war, but in a manner to be prescribed by law.


    Amendment IV

    The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.


    Amendment V

    No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offence to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.


    Amendment VI

    In all criminal prosecutions, the accused shall enjoy the right to a speedy and public trial, by an impartial jury of the State and district wherein the crime shall have been committed, which district shall have been previously ascertained by law, and to be informed of the nature and cause of the accusation; to be confronted with the witnesses against him; to have compulsory process for obtaining witnesses in his favor, and to have the Assistance of Counsel for his defence.


    Amendment VII

    In Suits at common law, where the value in controversy shall exceed twenty dollars, the right of trial by jury shall be preserved, and no fact tried by a jury, shall be otherwise re-examined in any Court of the United States, than according to the rules of the common law.


    Amendment VIII

    Excessive bail shall not be required, nor excessive fines imposed, nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.


    Amendment IX

    The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.


    Amendment X

    The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

    Amendments 11-27

    Constitutional Amendments 1-10 make up what is known as The Bill of Rights.
    Amendments 11-27 are listed below.

    The Judicial power of the United States shall not be construed to extend to any suit in law or equity, commenced or prosecuted against one of the United States by Citizens of another State, or by Citizens or Subjects of any Foreign State.


    Passed by Congress December 9, 1803. Ratified June 15, 1804.

    Note: A portion of Article II, section 1 of the Constitution was superseded by the 12th amendment.

    The Electors shall meet in their respective states and vote by ballot for President and Vice-President, one of whom, at least, shall not be an inhabitant of the same state with themselves; they shall name in their ballots the person voted for as President, and in distinct ballots the person voted for as Vice-President, and they shall make distinct lists of all persons voted for as President, and of all persons voted for as Vice-President, and of the number of votes for each, which lists they shall sign and certify, and transmit sealed to the seat of the government of the United States, directed to the President of the Senate; — the President of the Senate shall, in the presence of the Senate and House of Representatives, open all the certificates and the votes shall then be counted; — The person having the greatest number of votes for President, shall be the President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed; and if no person have such majority, then from the persons having the highest numbers not exceeding three on the list of those voted for as President, the House of Representatives shall choose immediately, by ballot, the President. But in choosing the President, the votes shall be taken by states, the representation from each state having one vote; a quorum for this purpose shall consist of a member or members from two-thirds of the states, and a majority of all the states shall be necessary to a choice. [And if the House of Representatives shall not choose a President whenever the right of choice shall devolve upon them, before the fourth day of March next following, then the Vice-President shall act as President, as in case of the death or other constitutional disability of the President. –]* The person having the greatest number of votes as Vice-President, shall be the Vice-President, if such number be a majority of the whole number of Electors appointed, and if no person have a majority, then from the two highest numbers on the list, the Senate shall choose the Vice-President; a quorum for the purpose shall consist of two-thirds of the whole number of Senators, and a majority of the whole number shall be necessary to a choice. But no person constitutionally ineligible to the office of President shall be eligible to that of Vice-President of the United States.

    Section 1.
    Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.

    Section 2.
    Congress shall have power to enforce this article by appropriate legislation.

    All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

    Representatives shall be apportioned among the several States according to their respective numbers, counting the whole number of persons in each State, excluding Indians not taxed. But when the right to vote at any election for the choice of electors for President and Vice-President of the United States, Representatives in Congress, the Executive and Judicial officers of a State, or the members of the Legislature thereof, is denied to any of the male inhabitants of such State, being twenty-one years of age,* and citizens of the United States, or in any way abridged, except for participation in rebellion, or other crime, the basis of representation therein shall be reduced in the proportion which the number of such male citizens shall bear to the whole number of male citizens twenty-one years of age in such State.

    Section 4.
    The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned. But neither the United States nor any State shall assume or pay any debt or obligation incurred in aid of insurrection or rebellion against the United States, or any claim for the loss or emancipation of any slave; but all such debts, obligations and claims shall be held illegal and void.

The Federal Reserve is a private business, controlled by international money barons, which determines our money supply, interest rates, value of the dollar, which countries/banks/businesses are allowed to succeed (pay to play). I think it would be near impossible to dismantle them at this point. But, we could boycott their zombie banks and insurance companies and frustrate their present objective.

    I’m thinking the 10th Amendment in the Bill of Rights will be key to your efforts – it restricts the federal usurpation of state’s rights, the basis of the current state’s soverignty outrage pounding in 30 states.

  47. As I was trying to buy Obama’s bull last night, I started thinking about what Biden said on the campaign trial. He said Mark my words, Obama would be tested early on in his Presidency. He then also said “Watch. We’re going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.”
    “And he’s going to need our help . . . to stand with him. Because it’s not going to be apparent initially; it’s not going to be apparent that we’re right.”
    Well, my mind started to wander a bit, as I started to fall asleep by the sound of the Sultans droning voice, trying to convey why his plans are the best plans regarding fixing the economy. I think most people like myself thought that Biden was referring to terrorist on a national scale, like the blowing up of some building or something. That one testy exchange with that reporter who had the nerve to ask him about AIG and his less then stellar handing of the first cover up of his administration. My thoughts wandered and I remembered what Biden said when he was in campaigning in Washington State.
    Could that test be the economy? The world economy is in trouble that could mean the international crisis, a “generated” (I read the “generated” as something intentional or forced) crisis to test him. It’s fairly obvious that our economy basically controls the world economy through international trade, etc. So, if we aren’t doing well the rest of the world suffers. What Biden said about the public needs to stand by him? Because it’s not going to be apparent initially that we’re right. I think most of us view Biden as an idiot and he won’t ever be receiving a Nobel Prize in Science. He’s a man who consistently, constantly and frequently has his Florham in his mouth and looking for the condiments that go with leather uppers (but at least knows not to spray his audience with his spittle.)
    So, I don’t view Biden as being competent or evil, don’t hate me because I’m beautiful, love me, then love all of me. That last comment might be a flub or gaff. It won’t be apparent that we are doing the right thing. Could be a message about their socialist agenda. We are going to destroy the economy so we can embrace socialism.

  48. I watched The Great Obami last night. Almost fell asleep. And then something occured to me – maybe to you too. Does it seem as you listen to this guy babble on youre getting conned? That would be a retorical question to the family here. The guy lies, the guy steals, the guy cheats with his words and his deeds, the guy keeps you from getting the whole truth. He dances like a frigging bear at the circus. He gets question A and answers it with Answer Z. WTF?

    Well one day I was in Chicago a few years back and I went to a bar. OK – it was something to do with clients. Bars like that arent on my normal beat. But what they hey, I was out of town and Im not married. Someone (a rather attractive someone) came over and asked me if I would buy her a drink. I paused and decided, what the hell – we’ll just see where this goes. Two drinks later Im bored and I decide to leave and clear my tab. The tab comes…to…over $1,000. The blood drained from my face. Now what do I do? I looked around and asked for the manager. I pointed out that it was just two drinks. He said, “so?”. I thought a moment, thought how I was going to get out of there alive, so I paid the check and dealt with it a few days later with the credit card company (everything turned out).

    OK – Now Im watching this guy on TV last night and the memory from that bar 30 years ago comes back to me. I feel like Im being held up by the Chicago mob again. I want to get out of here with my life but to save myself I have to pay the tab or get my legs broken.

    Of course, this is politics as usual for the Chicago Mob – Politicians doing each other favors, Labor leaders trying to game the system (open ballots). Thugs who use the foulest of language (Rom Emanuel) kinda like the Sopranos, payoffs, no one able to follow the money trail, missing TARP money, bribes (Blago).

    Who the hell are we REALLY dealing with here?

  53. Dan, so it wasn’t just me who fell asleep so early the thing is here in Alabama it was only 7 pm, so it was more like a nap. I have a question about your Chicago date, what were you drinking and how did the bartender explain the charge? Were you drinking Napoleon brandy? Chateau Lafitte Rothschild? Unbelievable. If you drank $1,000 bucks worth of booze, I don’t think you would be able to walk to your room. Chicago is similar with NYC. We were going to see a Broadway play and my mom wanted to make it special by going it one of the fancy hotels in downtown. We looked at the prices and knew we better leave. Just then the waiter arrived to take our order, so she thought to get something to drink and leave. I was maybe 15 or 16 so I ordered a diet 7up and she got a small glass of wine. What we got was a 7oz bottle of Diet 7up (no glass by the way) for 10 bucks and a half glass of white wine. The bill was almost $45.00 dollars with tax and tip.

    Needless to say we had very little money after that to get something to eat. I forget on the menu what things cost, but I do remember a cheeseburger was something like $25.00. I always preferred Philadelphia to NYC (we lived the same distance from both). They have pretty nice restaurants there as well, but more reasonable. Smith and Wollensky, great place if you like steak, which is in Philadelphia’s Rittenhouse Hotel and own two floors in the hotel. It has a splendid view of Rittenhouse Square. Beautiful area of the City and very close to historic Philadelphia. I’m a huge history buff so I tended to prefer it over New York. For anyone who visits NYC should be for warn of the smells emitted from the subway. The town stinks to high heaven. Philly doesn’t smell. Visiting cities is always a racket for tourist and business people.

    God, I hope this Obama thing is just a nightmare and I’ll wake up soon. Does he seriously believe that Wall Street investors will not worry that their winnings, should they join the Treasury as partners in risky investments, would be subject to public abuse, publicity and confiscatory taxation? So why is he so gunho about his particular form of rhetoric? He shows his yellow strip down his back every day. What became apparent from the 10 minutes that I watch last night is the he’s way over his head but the Democrats could never have anticipated the reaction from the American public. Last night he talked around the questions, did a little soft shoe number and evaded answering some tough questions. Mr. Ego believes no one has a right to question him, and every day it’s apparent that we continue to ask them.

    His rhetoric, which basically got him elected, makes it unlikely that this new program will succeed. He obviously gets it that the entire concept of a public-private partnership is impossible amid a climate of waging a class warfare, taxing the rich and heaping contempt on anyone who makes money (as they’ve demonize AIG exec). The president certainly understands that you cannot shake hands with your right while you launch a roundhouse with your left. And, we are supposed to trust him and Geithner with our future? The idiot didn’t pay his taxes. Obama wants us to put our faith in them, but faith goes both ways, where are your school records and birth certificate? Sorry, I don’t know if you all think like me, but there is something so underhanded about Obama, Pelosi and Reid. I don’t trust them at all and I’m afraid we will awake up one morning to some new law was put into place that most Americans would disagree with, like drilling or other issues that most Americans would object to being passed and we wake up with the knowledge that there is a nationwide ban on oil drilling.

    I love my Country, it’s a unique and wonderful place of a sort of melting pot of cultures, tradition and people. We don’t sometimes get along but we work at it and at least try to resolve our differences. Obama appears to want to demonize a few and gain more control over the private sector by capping how much money a person’s make. He wants a say in all American businesses, stick his filthy hands in the pig troth to dictate what they can do. He labels it as “fairness” and the brain dead, non-thinking morons brought hook, line and sinker. Truth be known… it’s still socialism with a pretty bow on top.

    STEVE VAUS, whose anthem “WE MUST TAKE AMERICA BACK” got him blacklisted by the recording industry 17 years ago, has re-recorded the song with updated lyrics for 2009 — and, this time, he believes, nothing can silence his haunting and inspirational track.

    Triviaman, you bring up an interesting idea. A number of us fell asleep, could his voice have the same properties as a hypnotist? Does his voice relax you? I don’t know if I’m relaxed enough, but he does infuriate me. Who knows but I do remember a time when movie theaters placed very subtle hint to buy a drink, popcorn and candy, that were carefully placed in their films. They were embedded in the films, which gave a message that your eye never saw but your subconscious did. One or two frames every number of feet to suggest that you were thirsty or hungry. Could the democratic party found a way to suggest to voters to vote for him?

  67. Eileen, you are correct about the”subtle hints” to buy more snacks and drinks at the refreshment stand in the theaters. It is called “subliminal advertising.” A very big bestseller book was on the New York Times book list at #1 for a long time in the 1960s, I believe. I can’t remember the exact title, but I believe it was written by Vance Packard. I bought the book and read it–quite revealing! I may still have it in my humongous library, somewhere. It’s quite worth the read!

    Did anyone see the verbal exchange between Geithner and Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann? You could see the confusion on his face. He didn’t know what she was talking about. What you want to do Mr. Geithner is illegal and goes against everything in our Constitution, moron. The man who ran on his knowledge of the US Constitution who claimed to have studied it at Harvard Law; these new policies fall outside his control. And would be overturned by the Supreme Court.

These were the last two posts listed on Stitch’s page. Did you try clearing your browser’s history? Sometimes, if the browser history is full, that will prevent you from being able to view newer material.

    I had trouble when I first signed into Youtube it only plays for a second or two and then it starts searching. In order to get it to play, I need to return to the original link that sent me there. I have to click on the link again and I’m able to watch it. I don’t know why it does it but it does. Sometimes I get a message to download a program but always chose no. But I don’t get that when I sign in to Youtube.

    I think he has a great shot of winning the seat as long as things stay above board. Which appears not to be happening. The women who was appointed to Hilary’s seat was a Democrat and quite conservative. But it’s still a somewhat conservative area of NY State near Albany. We’ll see more votes then people again. But at this point James Tedisco appears to be level headed and based on the crap going on in Congress, the democrats may fall. At this moment, it’s not to good to stick your neck out and say I’m behind Obama and Nancy Pelosi. I donated to his election as did some other family members. Let’s hope sanity wins again.
