With the liberal “I say it, therefore it is” kind of intellectual deliberation, all Obama goons and zombies are guilty until proven innocent, Period..) is now a “man on a mission”. He wants to “hear” what teachers, students and parents have to say about the “No Child Left Behind Act”. “Listening” has proven quite profitable for the leftists ever since the “I feel your pain” days of the last liberal lecher.. “Listening” and “doing” are two altogether different things within the cesspool of socialism and what they end up “doing” seldom has any resemblance to the “promises” that they made..
According to the article entitled, “Obama Preps Overhaul of No Child Left Behind”, it’s time to “renew and reform” the law, according to Arne and Obama has “pledged” to “overhaul” the law.. As has been the case for the entirety of the “Hundred Days War” declared by Obama and his sycophants upon what was once the United States of America, “he has been vague about how far he would go..” Shall we use just a few recent “examples” of the “Obama overhauls” as a template for this “pledge” and possibly “how far he would go?”
How about the “overhaul” of General Motors and Chrysler where the unions were rewarded with a 55% controlling interest of the Chrysler CORPORATION.. (What could go wrong there? Can you say “payoff” for services rendered? I knew you could..) What about the Obama “overhaul” of the banking system where corporations were forced to take TARP monies regardless of the solvency of their companies.. With these two examples alone as your guide to the progressive pattern, morning calisthenics and Little Red Book recitations under a mural of America’s “Dear Leader” aren’t too far behind for the public school saplings..
“I don’t know if ‘scrap’ is the word” according to Arne. If Obama is involved in any way, shape or form, “crap” is the word most befitting his contribution.. “Where things make sense, we’re going to keep them. Where things don’t make sense, we’re going to change them”. There’s that “change” thing again, every time that you hear it, all of your money including your “change” seems to disappear into the hands of the collectivists for redistribution to the recalcitrants..
The Obama administration like all liberal fascist forms of government strongly believes in “No Child Left Behind.” Unfortunately, the “child” in their scenario is invariably a thirty five-year-old, perfectly capable “victim” of the liberal caliphate’s perpetual methodology of “woe-is-me-ism”, a progressive puling that the left insists upon diapering to generation after generation.. The “real” children in the Obama “reformed Act” will take second place to another union bracing for a “Chrysler-esque” payoff, the trolls of the NEA..
Moderate George Bush forwarded the No Child Act which immediately came under fascist fire by the liberals and their wounded NEA members as they claimed that “it would cause the states to lower their official standards..” With the NEA in charge of the Democratic Party and the dystrophic public schools for decades, it seems odd that this argument would be the one that they would use. Then again, who else would know better than the NEA about “lowering official standards” as their trademarked technique in this area has been perfected over the last fifty years. The fastest track to the lowest class is now via the public schools, all with the approval of the enthusiastic enablers of the Democratic Party who control the permanent parasites and the burgeoning bottom feeders..
Even a moderate hoping to impress the liberal left by actually bringing about a “change” in the results produced by the public schools gets a socialist slap down for actually TRYING. Trying to bring about “results” from a public school system invaded by the insipid indoctrination of the fatalism of failure. Surprisingly, the tests were “suspect”, simply because the “results” proved that both the “students” and the NEA were incapable of producing “results” of a positive nature.
The “No Child Act” because of its focus upon a “narrow curriculum” and such painful materials such as reading, writing and mathematics not only caused “childhood obesity” but it supplanted the “arts”, “music” and “foreign languages”.. Judging by what the NEA has produced in the last fifty years, English itself is a “foreign language” within the corridors of the public schools. Even a moderate can’t “Do the right thing” in the eyes of the left who have yet another group of constituents looking for a personal payoff on behalf of “the kids”..
“Furthermore in our country, we can’t sweep the huge disparities with outcomes between white children and Latino children (Speak and teach English in America, problem solved..) and African American children (Speak and teach English, problem solved..) we can’t sweep those under the rug ever again.” Reality check, Arne: the ones holding the brooms are the progressive poltroons and the ones holding the rug up are the weasels of the NEA.
“Critics” said that the law was “too punitive” because “more than a third of schools failed to meet yearly progress goals last year.” The problem just had to be the TESTS.. In this wonderfully refreshing era of “change” can we jettison the jokers of the NEA as well as the pandering progressives and bring about a bit of competition with a voucher system which will definitively benefit the lowest class by allowing them the “freedom” to “choose”? “Choose” to the left, only involves the “choice” of the sensitively applied saline solutions to a fetus or the euthanizing of the infirm and “freedom” hasn’t been a part of the liberal vernacular for the better part of fifty years..
First Arne says that the law pushes schools to improve test scores each year (outrageous!!) and that the law was “absolutely loose on goals” and “they were very tight on how you get there..” Arne said that that was “fundamentally backwards”. Again, no one other than a liberal has a better understanding of what it means to be “fundamentally backwards”.. I suppose the fact that the NEA has stood in the way of the whole “how you get there” part made the “loose on goals” part unobtainable which of course, had to be the fault of the Act..
Now Arne says that the Obama derelicts will be “tight” on the goals, insisting “on more rigorous standards that are uniform across the states..” Here the socialist semantics gets intertwined within itself. If the problem was “loose goals” before, how will “tight goals” make a difference? Wasn’t “meet yearly progress goals” “tight” enough? The idea of being “uniform” has to excite that fifth columnists and the idea of being “very tight, very prescriptive on how you get there” may satisfy the liberal urge towards jack boot conformity, but how does that eliminate the possibility of “teaching to the test” if “results” are suddenly important to a group that has fought for decades to eliminate “outcome based” education? As always, words have no meaning, but the left “cares about the children”..
“What Duncan means by “tight” and “loose”, the administration has offered few clues..” There hasn’t been an article about the filthy fascists in the last hundred days that HASN’T mentioned their lack of specifics.. Everyone always gets the gory details when it is too late.
It is always “reported” that “No Child” has made “modest gains” due to “unprecedented attention”. (and unprecedented amounts of tax dollars) Regardless of the excuses generated by the degenerates of the left and the NEA, the element missing from the Obama take over of the schools will be “application”. Those who chose to apply themselves can overcome the carcinogenic touch of both the NEA and the disgusting liberals. The only thing that the left “teaches” its slackers and loafers is that they will indefinitely underwrite you as long as you agree to permanently wear the shackles of liberalism.
