Strategic Nonsense

Obama has decided that what “ails” the world is a lack of “international order” and who better to implement “order” than the Amerikan King of Chaos.. Before the brown Bolshevik goes “international”, it might help his pathetic puling if his liberal agenda were in a bit more “order” here at home..

Obama stopped by West Point in order to insult all those who were in attendance. Outfitted in his natty attire and nihilist kneepads, Obama said that “stronger international standards and institutions and stronger alliances can resolve challenges..” (“Obama Call for ‘International Order’ Raises Questions About U.S. Sovereignty” Fox News dot com) The “we are the world” mentality sounds all collectivist cute, but all that Obama is really looking for is others in which to lay blame when the pressure is on.

By “delegating” responsibilities to tin horn despots and banana republics, the responsibility for failure will rest upon those so burdened. Besides, who in their right mind would want to give tin horn despots and banana republics anything remotely resembling responsibilities unless FAILURE is the outcome that you desire.. We have been in “alliances” before, but we were the LEADERS. Now Obama just wants to be able to point his fascist finger at someone else when the whole house of communist cards collapses..

“Our adversaries would like to see America sap its strength by overextending our power..” Lets play “word jumble” with that liberal gibberish and lets place the words into their PROPER order.. “Our adversaries understand that the sap in charge of America has weakened America and overextended his welcome..” Obama has “sapped” tens of millions of jobs, he has “sapped” our “strength” by striking so many Chamberlainian progressive poses and he has “overextended” the constitutional powers of his liberal caliphate here at home. Under Obama, the killing of our “adversaries” needs the approval of the Peruvians and the Aleutians, but Obama’s “overextending” domestically needs only the approval of his elephantine ego..

“We have to shape an international order that can meet the challenges..” In order for this Obama “New World Odor” to be put into action, the United States has to give up what generations of brave Americans fought and died for. Again, Obama wants to willingly “give up” power internationally when he should have been forced to give up power domestically where he has caused infinitely more intentional damage..

He wants to see our armed forces “complemented” with “greater diplomatic agreement..” In other words, Obama wants to do what ALL liberals love to do.. Talk. Talk and talk and talk and talk and talk until you sign some useless piece of paper and we will again have “peace in our time..” All of the talk in the world wouldn’t have made Hitler a nice guy but that won’t stop the liberals from trying like the dickens with today’s demented dictators..

“Talk” is important to the liberals because they believe that they are so intellectually superior to everyone that they can “talk” anyone into anything. What they will NEVER understand is that while they are yammering away, the underlings of the “leader” that the liberal is haranguing are busy moving their plans along and once the preparations are completed, it’s time to sign some silly document for the liberals that will be forgotten by our “adversaries” before the ink is dry..

Speaking of “yammering”, back to Obama.. He said that we need, “more humanitarian assistance to needy nations..” Here we have yet another liberal with low self esteem and he thinks, as they all do, that they can “buy” their friends.. It has worked with the lowest class that the liberals are constantly striving to make permanent here in America, why can’t it work internationally? The term “needy” is a powerful aphrodisiac to the liberal softies because it reinforces their demented view that poverty causes crime or criminal behavior when the actual cause is a definitive lack of MORALS.

“The international order that we seek is one that can resolve the challenges of our times..” Who the hell is this “we” that he constantly refers to? Doesn’t this silly soliloquy sound oddly familiar?

September 1938. The “Munich Agreement”. Neville Obama Chamberlain came back to England and exclaimed, “My good friends, this is the second time there has come back from Germany to Downing Street peace with honor. I believe it is peace in our time. Now I recommend you go home and sleep quietly in your beds..” German Foreign Minister von Ribbentrop chastised Hitler for signing the agreement. Hitler replied, “Oh, don’t take it so seriously, that piece of paper is of no further significance whatsoever..” Liberals who ignore history and their ignoble place within it, are destined to repeat it.. Or for those fond of brevity, Dick Cheney was right..

What are these “challenges of our times” according to our own nitwit Neville? “Stopping the spread of nuclear weapons and securing nuclear materials, combating climate change, helping countries feed themselves and care for their sick..” Lets go in order.. He has failed miserably with both Iran and North Korea relative to the “spread of nuclear weapons”. He has in no way done anything resembling “securing nuclear materials”, just ask Russia. (And do not forget Obama’s arms reduction treaty recently signed and disregarded by the Reds..) The hoax of global warming is better off being addressed by this “international order” because China, India and Brazil are the biggest abusers of this “scientific Kwanzaa”. The whole “care of the sick” business is another “assistance to needy nations” kind of nonsense not unlike the health care scam which 63% of Americans would now like repealed (Rasmussen Reports 05/24/10)..

The article says “Obama has made enhanced international cooperation a priority dating back to the campaign..” Even with the immensely experienced Secretary of Statists at the helm of all of this “diplomatic international cooperation”, Obama hasn’t made a single inroads in the area of international relations. With the liberal lunacy of Obama front and center, his desire for an international cohesion has actually made America a country alone.. Former allies have been alienated and insulted and those he seeks to woo giggle in his presence as he and his staff of Marxist morons spend more time bowing than they do negotiating..

The idea of Obama’s Knave New World of “diminished American power” can be tethered to the liberal fascination with MAD (Mutually Assured Destruction). If we are all “equal”, no one will have an advantage over anyone and everyone will all get along.. The world will NEVER be “equal” and Obama will give and give and give until such time as America is actually in a position of abject inferiority.. This is the sing song sophistry that passes for international relations under this administration.

James Carafano said that the Obama oration was “simply not grounded in reality, it’s strategic nonsense..” No one alive knows more about the topic of “nonsense” foreign or domestic, strtegic or otherwise, than Obama..

  1. James Carafano is correct. Ozero has not the foggiest notion of what grounded reality might be. He probably thinks it is used in the kitchen, since its grounded. Ozero thinks if he can get the USofA into third world standards, he could become king, like Chavez or Castro. I’m adding a blog I received from my oldest brother.

For anyone thinking we are being too hard on our illegals,

    American working in Mexico

From the other side of the fence…

Received the following from Tom O’Malley, who was a Director with S.W. BELL in Mexico City:

“I spent five years working in Mexico. I worked under a tourist Visa for three months and could legally renew it for three more months. After that you were working illegally. I was technically illegal for three weeks waiting on the FM3 approval.”

“During that six months our Mexican and U.S. attorneys were working to secure a permanent work visa called a ‘FM3’. It was in addition to my U.S. passport that I had to show each time I entered and left the country. Barbara’s was the same, except hers did not permit her to work.

“To apply for the FM3, I needed to submit the following notarized originals (not copies):
    1. Birth certificate for Barbara and me.
    2. Marriage certificate.
    3. High school transcripts and proof of graduation.
    4. College transcripts for every college I attended and proof of graduation.
    5. Two letters of recommendation from supervisors I had worked for at least one year.
    6. A letter from the St. Louis Chief of Police indicating that I had no arrest record in the U.S. and no outstanding
warrants and, was “a citizen in good standing”.
    7. “Finally, I had to write a letter about myself that clearly stated why there was no Mexican citizen with
my skills and why my skills were important to Mexico. We called it our ‘I am the greatest person on Earth’
letter. It was fun to write.”

“All of the above were in English that had to be translated into Spanish and be certified as legal
translations, and our signatures notarized. It produced a folder about 1.5 inches thick with English on the left side & Spanish on the right.”

“Once they were completed Barbara and I spent about five hours, accompanied by a Mexican attorney, touring Mexican government office locations and being photographed and fingerprinted at least three times at each location, and we remember at least four locations where we were instructed on Mexican tax, labor, housing, and criminal law and that we were required to obey their laws or face the consequences. We could not protest any of the government’s actions or we would be committing a felony. We paid out four thousand dollars in fees and bribes to complete the process. When this was done we could legally bring in our household goods that were held by U.S. Customs in Laredo, Texas. This meant we had rented furniture in Mexico while awaiting our goods. There were extensive fees involved here that the company paid.”

“We could not buy a home and were required to rent at very high rates and under contract and compliance with Mexican law.”

“We were required to get a Mexican driver’s license. This was an amazing process. The company arranged
for the licensing agency to come to our headquarters location with their photography and fingerprint equipment and the laminating machine. We showed our U.S. license, were photographed and fingerprinted again and issued the license instantly after paying out a six dollar fee. We did not take a written or driving test and never received instructions on the rules of the road. Our only instruction
was to never give a policeman your license if stopped and asked. We were instructed to hold it against the inside window away from his grasp. If he got his hands on it you would have to pay ransom to get it back. ”

“We then had to pay and file Mexican income tax annually using the number of our FM3 as our ID number. The company’s Mexican accountants did this for us and we just signed what they prepared. It was about twenty legal size pages annually.”

“The FM3 was good for three years and renewable for two more after paying more fees.”

“Leaving the country meant turning in the FM3 and certifying we were leaving no debts behind and no
outstanding legal affairs (warrants, tickets or liens) before our household goods were released to customs.”

“It was a real adventure and if any of our Senators or Congressmen went through it once they would have a different attitude toward Mexico.”

“The Mexican government uses its vast military and police forces to keep its citizens intimidated and
compliant. They never protest at their capitol or government offices, but do protest daily in front of the
United States Embassy. The U.S. Embassy looks like a strongly reinforced fortress and during most protests the Mexican military surrounds the block with their men standing shoulder to shoulder in full riot gear to protect the Embassy. These protests are never shown on U.S. or Mexican TV. There is a large public park across the street where they do their protesting. Anything can cause a protest such as proposed law changes in California or Texas.”

Please feel free to share this with everyone who thinks we are cruel racist because we insist foreigners comply with our immigration laws like Mexico and all other countries require of us !

Question to ponder: Why won’t our government enforce the immigration laws on our side of the border ???????

  2. And, who would the fraud in the W H wish were in charge of this New World Order ? Perhaps Putin, Chavez, Calderon, or maybe some Muslim. Or , is he priming himself to be the “King of the World”.
He might qualify, since he was born in several places around the world – USA, Africa, Indonesia, wherever ! And, his Muslim brothers are everywhere, so why not him? He is the man of the world.

But, it is we who are stuck with this fraud – how much longer can we tolerate his distruction of this great country?

  3. A little further word jumble:

America would enpower itself by overpowering the sap and his adversaries in Congress who overextended their powers.

“more humanitarian aid to needy nations”?!? WTH!! Obviously he’s not talking about foreign aid, cripes, we’re supporting half of Mexico and they’re coming to us!

  4. Like our friend Mr. Ronnie said, “The trouble with our liberal friends is not that their ignorant; it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.”
We’ve got a “community organizer” that can’t help but keep running his bright smile into brick walls all the while ricocheting to the next improbable and unimportant target.

  5. A liberal: one who falls in love with the leech, while having contempt for the host!

  6. Obamaism: “Good-bye to Tooth Fairy politics; hello, root-canal politics.” (Thom Friedman)

  7. You MUST read: “US Presidency for DUMMIES: MORON (A Reference for the Rest of Us!)”

(Coming soon to your friendly, neighborhood bookstore–and the White House gets 500 complimentary copies, to boot!)

  8. Triviaman,

Are you sure they’re literate? Look and the bills they’ve passed; “We have to pass it before we know what’s in it” healthcare and the criticism of Arizona’s lengthy ten page immigration law.

Obama is droolying out of both sides of his mouth it’s a wonder he doesn’t get his lips tied in a knot. First he’s kissing Calderon’s tush, along with the socialist Congress, then he’s promising 1,200 national guard, as if that’s gonna help, to beef up the border and that’s after better than a year of Arizona’s requests for them.
Course Bush did the same thing with 6,000 National Guard troops in ’06…but not really. They were deployed unarmed as support roles, not actually at the border and not all at once.

To be perfectly honest, the last four administrations have really sucked at enforcing our nation’s immigration laws.

  9. Apparently the only immigration law is the one in AZ, which the regime does not want to recognize.

Regarding the oil spill, the regime won’t allow the state of Louisiana to put up a sand barrier to protect it’s shore line, unless they get a federal permit !! WTH is it with these idiots ? So, if they put the sand in bags, as is usually done for flooding ( and without permits) would that satisfy these morons? Does it appear that this regime wants to see more damage from this spill, in order to re-inforce their ‘no drill’ policy ??

When will the states band together and say “enough is enough” , and take back their Constitutionaly – given rights ?

  10. on all these organized ‘protests’ about Arizona’s (rightful) enforcing of their law:
this is from a friend of mine…

Cheap Tomatoes THIS HAS GOT TO BE PASSED ALONG TO AS MANY AS POSSIBLE OR WE WILL ALL GODOWN THE DRAIN BECAUSE A FEW DON’T CARE.This English teacher has phrased it the best I’ve seen yet.Tomatoes and Cheap Labor CHEAP TOMATOES?This should make everyone think , be you Democrat, Republican orIndependent From a California school teacher – – – “As you listen to the news about the student protests over illegalimmigration, there are some things that you should be aware of:I am in charge of the English-as-a-second-language department at a largesouthern California high school which is designated a Title 1 school, meaning that its students average lower socioeconomic and income levels Most of the schools you are hearing about, South Gate High, Bell Gardens, Huntington Park , etc., where these students are protesting, are alsoTitle 1 schools. Title 1 schools are on the free breakfast and free lunch program. When Isay free breakfast, I’m not talking a glass of milk and roll — but afull breakfast and cereal bar with fruits and juices that would make aMarriott proud. The waste of this food is monumental, with trays andtrays of it being dumped in the trash uneaten.I estimate that well over 50% of these students are obese or at leastmoderately overweight. About 75% or more DO have cell phones . The schoolalso provides day care centers for the unwed teenage pregnant girls .(some as young as 13) so they can attend class without the inconvenienceof having to arrange for babysitters or having family watch their kids.I was ordered to spend $700,000 on my department or risk losingfunding for the upcoming year even though there was little need foranything; my budget was already substantial. I ended up buying newcomputers for the computer learning center, half of which, one monthlater, have been carved with graffiti by the appreciative students whoobviously feel humbled and grateful to have a free education in AmericaI have had to intervene several times for young and substitute teacherswhose classes consist of many illegal immigrant students, here in thecountry less then 3 months, who raised so much hell with the femaleteachers, calling them “Putas” (whores) and throwing things, that theteachers were in tears.Free medical, free education, free food, free day care etc., etc, etc. Isit any wonder they feel entitled to not only be in this country but todemand rights, privileges and entitlements? To those who want to point out how much these illegal immigrantscontribute to our society because they LIKE their gardener andhousekeeper and they like to pay less for tomatoes: spend some time inthe real world of illegal immigration and see the TRUE costs.Higher insurance, medical facilities closing, higher medical costs, morecrime, lower standards of education in our schools, overcrowding, newdiseases . For me, I’ll pay more for tomatoes.Americans, We need to wake up.It does, however, have everything to do with culture: It involves anAmerican third-world culture that does not value education, that acceptschildren getting pregnant and dropping out of school by 15 and thatrefuses to assimilate, and an American culture that has become so weakand worried about ” political correctness ” that we don’t have thewillto do anything about it.If this makes your blood boil , as it did mine, forward this to everyoneyou know.C HEAP LABOR? Isn’t that what the whole immigration issue is about?Business doesn’t want to pay a decent wage.Consumers don’t want expensive produce.Government will tell you Americans don’t want the jobs. But the bottom line is cheap labor. The phrase “cheap labor” is a myth,a farce, and a lie. There is no such thing as “cheap labor.”Take, for example, an illegal alien with a wife and five children. Hetakes a job for $5.00 or 6.00/hour. At that wage, with six dependents, hepays no income tax, yet at the end of the year, if he f iles an IncomeTax Return, he gets an ” earned income credit” of up to $3,200 free.He qualifies for Section 8 housing and subsidized rent .He qualifies for food stamps. He qualifies for free (no deductible, no co-pay) health care. His children get free breakfasts and lunches at school. He requires bilingual teachers and books. He qualifies for relief from high energy bills. If they are, or become, aged, blind or disabled , they qualify for SSI.If qualified for SSI they can qualify for Medica id. All of this is at(our) taxpayer’s expense . He doesn’t worry about car insurance, life insurance, or homeowners insurance.Taxpayers provide Spanish language signs, bulletins and printed material He and his family receive the equivalent of $20.00 to $30.00/hour in benefits. Working Americansare lucky to have $5.00 or $6..00/hour left after paying their bills andhis.Cheap labor? YEAH RIGHT! THESE ARE THE QUESTIONS WE SHOULD BE ADDRESSING TO THE CONGRESSIONAL MEMBERS OF EITHER PARTY. ‘AND WHEN THEY LIE TO US AND DON’T DO AS THEYSAY, WE SHOULD REPLACE THEM . Please pass this on to as many as possible. Immigration legislation is to be considered in 2010. This is important to working Americans, oureconomy and our American culture and heritage. .

  11. Methinks the Prince of Fools has slyly delayed any governmental actions towards the offshore oil crisis. Waiting until the oil slick becomes thick enough that he may prove to his dillusional followers that it’s possible for him to walk on water.

While Arizona’s law will be effective when enacted, there are some of the usual (high-up politicians included) loonies that are already setting sites on the Constitutionality of it. The law does not break any constitutional laws as it does not over-step, nor does it quite meet, the Federal Laws on immigration that aren’t now already on the books.
The Arizona law is a police-power law enpowering Arizona to do what the Federal Government has failed to do. I’m sure La Raza, $harpton and his ilk of race-baiters plus every other bleeding heart in the country with no comprehension of math or reason will be hollering “racial profiling” the minute they hear police power.
Police power is the power to make laws for public safety, public health, general public welfare and morality.

It really pi$$es me off that I have a United States Congress who gives a standing ovation to a squatty foreign president after his denegrating speech upon our country’s system, not only of immigration, but of humanitarism!! I’ve said long ago that I cannot bring myself to call the person in the White House the president of this country. I now include the majority of the House of Representatives and can only thank God that my Representative wasn’t one who stood up for that burrito bastard.

  12. They left is using them as victims instead of what they are criminals according to our current immigration laws. Listening to that idiot Holder tell PB that they will prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law. I yelled at the TV and said how about following all our laws, not just the ones you pick and choose that suit your fancy.

Someone sent this to me on Monday but I wasn’t able to to view it the computer was down. It’s a good explanation of the differences between Republic and Democracy.

To those who are and were members of our military thank you for your service. Happy belated Memorial Day.

  13. Cheap labor is only half of the equation. The other half is that the Democrats think that the Hispanics will form a reliable Democrat voting block once amnesty is passed.

  14. Poll on Fox News where the progressives have taken the lead over the rest of the Country.

    The question:

Should the American Flag Be Banned — in America?

Take the poll and pass it on.

  15. Eileen, that was a really good video. It should be required in every history classroom in america.

I can’t wait for November ro get here. I guess we should be thankful this is an interim election year. At least there is something to keep Congress busy doing outside of DC so they can’t pass any more stupid laws.

  16. Here’s another video to watch. Make note at the end what City it will be in.

  17. Why am I not surprised…….

  18. People, this is extremely important. Read it and pass it on to your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers. This bill is an assault on our freedoms.

TREASON ALERT! – Senators propose granting president emergency Internet power ***BREAKING NEWS***

June 10, 2010 — Unfortunately, this appears to be legitimate. CNET News is NOT a news outlet that is given to publishing conspiracy theories, as we have recently found EU Times to be, like Alex Jones & some others do. I have occasionally relied on CNET News, as they have been publishing reliable news, going back a full decade plus. So you can imagine how this is VERY disturbing.

And for those who will inevitably ask “why are you surprised?” the answer is I’m not surprised, but the urgency just got turned up a notch. We’ve been busy dealing with so many things, WE CANNOT LET THIS PASS! This will literally isolate and strangle our movement, and prepare the way to literally shut down Fox News Channel. This was posted late enough last night (after Midnight Eastern) that I wasn’t looking out for breaking news releases, and so I just noticed this:

    June 10, 2010 8:25 PM PDT
Senators propose granting president emergency Internet power
    by Declan McCullagh

A new U.S. Senate bill would grant the president far-reaching emergency powers to seize control of or even shut down portions of the Internet.

The legislation announced Thursday says that companies such as broadband providers, search engines, or software firms that the government selects “shall immediately comply with any emergency measure or action developed” by the Department of Homeland Security. Anyone failing to comply would be fined.

That emergency authority would allow the federal government to “preserve those networks and assets and our country and protect our people,” Joe Lieberman, the primary sponsor of the measure and the chairman of the Homeland Security committee, told reporters on Thursday. Lieberman is an independent senator from Connecticut who caucuses with the Democrats.

Because there are few limits on the president’s emergency power, which can be renewed indefinitely, the densely worded 197-page bill (PDF) is likely to encounter stiff opposition.
TechAmerica, probably the largest U.S. technology lobby group, said it was concerned about “unintended consequences that would result from the legislation’s regulatory approach” and “the potential for absolute power.” And the Center for Democracy and Technology publicly worried that the Lieberman bill’s emergency powers “include authority to shut down or limit Internet traffic on private systems.”

The idea of an Internet “kill switch” that the president could flip is not new. A draft Senate proposal that CNET obtained in August allowed the White House to “declare a cybersecurity emergency,” and another from Sens. Jay Rockefeller (D-W.V.) and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) would have
explicitly given the government the power to “order the disconnection” of certain networks or Web sites.

On Thursday, both senators lauded Lieberman’s bill, which is formally titled the Protecting Cyberspace as a National Asset Act, or PCNAA. Rockefeller said “I commend” the drafters of the PCNAA. Collins went further, signing up at a co-sponsor and saying at a press conference that “we cannot afford to wait for a cyber 9/11 before our government realizes the importance of protecting our cyber resources.”

Under PCNAA, the federal government’s power to force private companies to comply with emergency decrees would become unusually broad. Any company on a list created by Homeland Security that also “relies on” the Internet, the telephone system, or any other component of the U.S. “information infrastructure” would be subject to command by a new National Center for Cybersecurity and Communications (NCCC) that would be created inside Homeland Security.

The only obvious limitation on the NCCC’s emergency power is one paragraph in the Lieberman bill that appears to have grown out of the Bush-era flap over warrantless wiretapping. That limitation says that the NCCC cannot order broadband providers or other companies to “conduct surveillance” of Americans unless it’s otherwise legally authorized.

Lieberman said Thursday that enactment of his bill needed to be a top congressional priority. “For all of its ‘user-friendly’ allure, the Internet can also be a dangerous place with electronic pipelines that run directly into everything from our personal bank accounts to key infrastructure to government and industrial secrets,” he said. “Our economic security, national security and public safety are now all at risk from new kinds of enemies–cyber-warriors, cyber-spies, cyber-terrorists and cyber-criminals.”

Lieberman’s proposal would form a powerful and extensive new Homeland Security bureaucracy around the NCCC, including “no less” than two deputy directors, and liaison officers to the Defense Department, Justice Department, Commerce Department, and the Director of National Intelligence. (How much the NCCC director’s duties would overlap with those of the existing assistant secretary for infrastructure protection is not clear.)

The NCCC also would be granted the power to monitor the “security status” of private sector Web sites, broadband providers, and other Internet components. Lieberman’s legislation requires the NCCC to provide “situational awareness of the security status” of the portions of the Internet that are inside the United States — and also those portions in other countries that, if disrupted, could cause significant harm.

Selected private companies would be required to participate in “information sharing” with the Feds. They must “certify in writing to the director” of the NCCC whether they have “developed and implemented” federally approved security measures, which could be anything from encryption to physical security mechanisms, or programming techniques that have been “approved by the director.” The NCCC director can “issue an order” in cases of noncompliance.

The prospect of a vast new cybersecurity bureaucracy with power to command the private sector worries some privacy advocates. “This is a plan for an auto-immune reaction,” says Jim Harper, director of information studies at the libertarian Cato Institute. “When something goes wrong, the government will attack our infrastructure and make society weaker.”

To sweeten the deal for industry groups, Lieberman has included a tantalizing offer absent from earlier drafts: immunity from civil lawsuits. If a software company’s programming error costs customers billions, or a broadband provider intentionally cuts off its customers in response to a federal command, neither would be liable.

If there’s an “incident related to a cyber vulnerability” after the president has declared an emergency and the affected company has followed federal standards, plaintiffs’ lawyers cannot collect damages for economic harm. And if the harm is caused by an emergency order from the Feds, not only does the possibility of damages virtually disappear, but the U.S. Treasury will even pick up the private company’s tab.

Another sweetener: A new White House office would be charged with forcing federal agencies to take cybersecurity more seriously, with the power to jeopardize their budgets if they fail to comply. The likely effect would be to increase government agencies’ demand for security products.

Tom Gann, McAfee’s vice president for government relations, stopped short of criticizing the Lieberman bill, calling it a “very important piece of legislation.”

McAfee is paying attention to “a number of provisions of the bill that could use work,” Gann said, and “we’ve certainly put some focus on the emergency provisions.”

The wisdom of food storage, energy independence (including at your own home, as in solar panels, wind energy, solar water heaters, etc.), and general preparedness is now much more apparent and personal, and our need to be prepared is far more urgent than even a month ago. It might be a good time to look into, like Glenn recommends, for all who don’t have a guaranteed supply of food to last them a year or more. And if one has nothing saved up, food-wise, gold-wise, or other-wise, but can see what is coming, nothing will bring peace of mind like the ability to eat, no matter what. When I got my first order from, I felt like Glenn talks about feeling when he’s advertising for them on the radio: the burden which began to lift off of my shoulders is surprisingly heavy. In my case (as I’m sure it is in many of yours), with a wife and three kids, the burden to provide, whatever comes, weighs heavily in a time such as now. If you can’t afford Gold (and even if you can), if you don’t yet have food security, it’s a good idea to get food you don’t have to worry about rotating, because it will still be good in one year or twenty; regardless of how this turns out, at some point the wisdom of preparedness will be as obvious as the nose on one’s face. Honestly, if things get bad enough, many believe that food will be worth its weight in gold. A starving man will definitely part with whatever he has to in order to survive, and even more so if he has a starving wife and starving children.

Please also remember to prepare go-packs (a backpack with everything you’d need to survive on foot, in case you must leave your home on short notice). And try to store clothing, shoes, fuel, water, toothpaste, soap, etc. in addition to food – if this happens soon, you won’t want to have to divide your resources among other essentials like soap, shampoo, Q-tips, toothbrushes/heads, toilet paper, etc. Don’t forget copies of the Constitution & Declaration and other essential publications. See our Preparedness Group for more.

  19. Here’s a new video that goes into more detail about Obama.

  20. Here another arrogant Washington politician thinking he is better than anyone else.

This looks like a clear case of assault to me.

He didn’t even wait very long to strike the camera-phone, that action might be battery.

Additionally, he snatched the phone at 0:24 and kept it at 0:55 and walked away.

    Additional charge of theft.

“Who are you?” “You’ll find out when you’re served with an arrest warrant.”

Maybe Larry can clear up if this is an assault or if it battery or both. He took the kids cell phone and never gave it back, that’s theft.

  21. What’s going on? Has Larry closed his site down?

I found a Tennessee attorney who has filed a class action suit against ObamaCare. You can add your name and/or company to the suit by a donation of $10.00.

Sorry for the absence but the latest TOTD goes towards an explanation:

The “news” which is my source, has seemingly all but dried up..

    I hope that I haven’t lost everyone..

    Thanks as always,
